Everything is great. It’s a cute spot. The food is excellent. And I particularly loved the mutton cutlet and the banana fritters. But I do have one complaint, all the sweet things—drinks and deserts—have a syrupy sweetness that I just disliked. Fix that and it’s a 10/10 for me.

Very tasty vegetarian food, always different from run-of-the-mill South Indian dishes which are available everywhere in delhi. We’ve only gone in the morning/afternoon when the service has always been good and fast.

I am huge fan of South Indian food and have tried far better food than this one. I ordered Andhara chicken as a starter which was okay. Although it had few of the pieces to be really chewy but I can give that 7/10. Then I ordered their Chicken Dosa which was totally waste. It looks tempting but its totally not worth it. Chicken keema has a very foul smell and taste which doesnt go with their dosa AT ALL. I will rate it 4/10. 4 for dosa and chutneys. For main course I tried their Chicken curry and malabar paranthas. Paranthas were really nice and they deserve 10/10. Properly crispy and delicious. Chicken curry had undercooked (or I should say under boiled) chicken pieces just tossed in some tomato gravy. If I eat chicken without gravy it didnt have any taste and was totally uncooked. I tried talking to the waiter but he started explaining me about the pieces but then I showed him all the pieces to be the same. He asked me if he could get this redone but unfortunately the experience was such that I couldnt dare to try it again. I will rate it 6/10. Lastly they charge soft beverages more than the MRP and they serve in can which is technically not right. Although the service staff was cooperative and service was really fast.

The food was good, but the service was slow. We ordered the mutton cutlet as a starter, which arrived quickly and gave us the impression that service would be brisk. However, the main course took a long time, almost 30 minutes and we were left waiting while other guests who arrived after us were served first. We asked about our order twice and finally had to emphasize that we were accompanied by a toddler and could not afford to wait any longer. Our food arrived only after that conversation. For main course we had ordered the Mutton Kozhambhu and the Sri Lankan Chicken Curry, both were good. Probably would have enjoyed dinner more if the order arrived sooner.

We probably had huge expectations from this place. It's a decent place with decent food. We ordered Podi Prawns, Mutton Pepperfry Dosa, Aleeppi Meen Mangacurry and Kokkum Sherbat. The dishes are palatable but they lack the finesse of the authetic South Indian dishes. The service was fast and amicable.

Sunday Dinner Disaster at Dakshin! 😡 My Sunday night dinner plans at Dakshin turned into a complete nightmare around 8 PM. Despite all the buzz on Instagram, this place is tiny and clearly can't handle the hype. We were quoted an almost hour-long wait because they don't take reservations – seriously, why?! 😤 The "waiting area" was practically on top of people trying to enjoy their meals. Imagine someone hovering over your table while you're eating – talk about an awful experience! To make matters worse, it felt like a total free-for-all. Bigger groups were constantly being seated ahead of smaller parties, and my group of two felt completely ignored. This is just plain mismanagement. If you're going to promote yourselves so heavily, at least have the capacity and a proper system to back it up! Utterly disappointed and definitely won't be returning. Finally after waiting for an hour ended up at Tamu which is right next door. and thank god we did. Amazing food, super host, perfect ambience. They had the best mousse i have ever tasted. Something to learn from your next door neighbors on how a restaurant should be run.

The food is below par. Had a lot of expectations walking in considering the hype but it’s definitely overrated. The texture of mutton wasn’t good. The chicken wasn’t cooked that well. Prawns were average. Don’t think we will be visiting this restaurant again.

Pathetic. Food quality quantity both unsatisfactory. They’ve changed the entire concept of South Indian food. Please don’t waste your time and money. Worthless

It was pathetic, went with small kids and seriously no option for kids . Pathetic in terms of vegetarian , would not recommend at all .

Everything but food is fine. Not aware about non-vegetarian food, but not a place for vegetarians.
