Authentic and excellent Japanese experience! The food was bang on! We ordered smoked salmon sushi, sweet and sticky sauce glazed fried chicken, chicken grilled meatballs with cheese and miso glaze and for mains miso chicken-pork ramen. Everything tasted divine! Even the fruit ice teas were so good we tried mandarin and grapefruit flavours.

Fantastic Food, Authentic Japanese, Superb hospitality and great service. Try their range of Ramen, yakitori and other starters... they are worth trying. Also, beer cocktails are awesome if you like beer and are ok to experiment. Awesome experience. I'll definitely be coming here again. Alivi served us well. thanks a lot.

Had some amazing food. We tried chefs special chicken yakatori, chicken tempura , spicy edamame , chicken katsu curry. We tried their beer cocktail .. it definitely deserves a try .. had orange one . It was good. Will go back there again.

The salmon nigiri arrived with quiet confidence—seared just enough to whisper authenticity, the garlic lending it a warm, familiar depth. A green sauce accompanied it, vivid and bold, though perhaps too eager—it lingered longer than expected, leaving a sharp impression. The kara ramen followed, rich and comforting at first glance. Its flavors circled somewhere close to harmony, though never fully settling—balanced, yet slightly adrift. Then again, perhaps the earlier heat had already rewritten the palate. Service moved in polite gestures, courteous but inattentive in the details. A table set without essentials felt like an afterthought, a small omission that echoed louder in solitude. Dining alone seemed to place one just outside their center of gravity. The mocktails, restrained to the point of forgetfulness, added little to the experience—present, but not persuasive. And yet, the food held its ground. Not flawless, not forgettable. Just enough to return to, if only to see whether the story tastes different the second time.

I had a very disappointing experience. The service was poor from the start! no one attended our table promptly, there were no tissues provided, and my request to serve all the dishes together was ignored. When the food finally arrived, there were no extra spoons or forks, and it was difficult to even get the staff’s attention without raising my voice. The dessert experience was even worse. I ordered three mochis, asked to pack two and return the third (which I had only tasted with one spoon). Instead, they only packed the two and the third simply disappeared. I still don’t know if it was thrown away or eaten in the kitchen, but either way it felt careless and unprofessional. Overall, the lack of basic service and attention ruined what could have been a good meal. Extremely frustrating and disappointing. I cannot recommend this place.

Writing this while sitting here. If you are a restaurant that can only ‘service’ people who look like local asians or appear wealthy, you should write than on a board outside so one knows what to expect. Your staff will laugh and giggle in front of people based on their ‘appearance’ and this is a serious accusation I’m making basis a lived experience consistent for the 2nd time. While my table - the lady taking the order couldn’t stop sighing or making perplexed faces while having to serve us. You disgust me in the name of hospitality and you bloody well ensure ‘basic respect, equal treatment is ensured for ALL’ even if that’s not how your waiting staff feels here.

Unnecessary attitude! Places like these should not be allowed to operate as these ruin the dining experience even before it starts! The man at the counter is like a deaf & dumb person who sees nothing and the servers are acrimonious the at the word go!!
