My Maiden Visit to Crowne Plaza Hotel in Okhla, Delhi: A Gastronomic Adventure at the Dilli 6 Food Fest Stepping into the Crowne Plaza New Delhi Okhla for the first time was an experience I won't soon forget. It wasn't just any visit – I was there to attend the 14th Edition of Dilli 6 at Edesia's Exclusive Food Fest called Daawat-E-Khaas. As a food enthusiast, I was beyond excited to embark on this gastronomic journey through the vibrant streets of Delhi 6. From February 12th to February 25th, 2024, Edesia, the world cuisine all-day dining restaurant nestled within Crowne Plaza, will transform into a culinary haven celebrating the rich heritage and diverse flavors of Old Delhi. The theme, Daawat-E-Khaas, promised an extraordinary experience, and I was eager to dive in. As I arrived at Edesia, the ambiance immediately set the tone for the evening. The decor, intricately designed to resemble the streets of Old Delhi, transported me back in time. I could feel the buzz of excitement in the air as fellow food enthusiasts gathered to indulge in an unforgettable dining experience. The menu was a testament to Delhi's rich history and culinary heritage. Sipping on tantalizing cocktails like the Anarkali Martini and Mohabbat ka Pyala, I felt like royalty. Each sip was a burst of flavor, perfectly complementing the mouthwatering delicacies that followed. From special bread like biscuit roti to heavenly Daulat ki Chaat, every dish was a masterpiece. Authentic Jama Masjid ke Non-Veg Kabab, savory Parathe Wali Gali offerings, and tantalizing chaat specialties like Chatori Delhi Ka Jayaka left me craving for more. The traditional delicacies, including Biryani by plate, Korma, and Nihari, were a true delight for the senses. Mr. Shuvendu Banerjee, General Manager of Crowne Plaza New Delhi Okhla, expressed his enthusiasm for hosting such a remarkable event. His passion for celebrating Delhi's culinary culture was evident, and his dedication to providing guests with an immersive experience was commendable. As I savored each bite and soaked in the ambiance, I couldn't help but appreciate the efforts of the team behind the Dilli 6 Food Fest. Their commitment to authenticity and excellence was reflected in every aspect of the event. My maiden visit to Crowne Plaza in Okhla, Delhi, for the Dilli 6 Food Fest was truly a gastronomic adventure. It was more than just a meal – it was a journey through the flavors, history, and traditions of Old Delhi. I left Edesia with a full heart and a satisfied palate, eager to return for more culinary experiences in the future. If you're a food enthusiast looking for an extraordinary dining experience, I highly recommend attending the Dilli 6 Food Fest at Edesia, Crowne Plaza New Delhi Okhla. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

my daughter had planned mothers day brunch here and trust me I was pampered with excellent food spread, which was equally delicious and good live music. they had continental, Asian and indian spread and I must congratulate for the curation of the menu. beautiful salad spread both veg & non veg also make your own salad with varieties of hummas, and dressings. 2 veg and two non veg starters and golgappas. great way to start with.. special mention to crispy fish fries and panner. Jerk chicken with blueberry sause delicious, mongolian veg & non veg curry with noodles was too gud. in indian section, dal makhni, dal tadka, saag paneer, mutton ra ra and live counter of butter chicken , veg non veg biryani, just wow. thumps up to live pasta counter. elaborate dessert spread. so from ambiance, to food to service it was wow. special mention to the floor manager Shyamal and his senior Tanupam. I saw shyamal taking care of each each requirements. my husband has a fractured feet, but the hotel staff took care of hil and helped him with a wheel chair . all his food were served on his table. thanks to the whole team for making the day so special. i got to know they arrange special weekend dinner based on the Delhi6, theme. sounds interesting. so guys , I highly recommend your visit and experience their hospitality. totally value for money.

I was so impressed by the impeccable service the restaurant offers. Everyone from the manager to the chef went out of their way to ensure that the food was to our liking. Nikhil greeted me everyday, and his made-to-order egg bhurji on toast was crafted with care. I felt extremely welcomed by the experience. The buffet has a wonderful selection of food as well, so on most days, I was content with the buffet.

The food was great but this price point the restaurant was missing mutton items or sea food other than fish . Plus the fruits and salad didn’t look fresh.

They can improve on the quality of food. In addition to that the available option was also not much in non-veg.

ine in I had worst of experience in Edesia yesterday (26th April 12:30 PM) . I visited this restaurant with my client, total 10 people. I briefed the staff about how important this lunch is and requested them to ensure best of their service, before arrival of my client team. Once all arrived we were allocated a nice table in the corner, as requested to maintain the privacy. We waited for 10 minutes for someone to turn up with food and drink menus. After frequent follow up and visit to manager desk we got the menus. We ordered the drinks - 7 Lemonades. Again no one turned up for next 15-20 minutes. I had to go again fight with the staff, push the drink guy to make drinks in front of me. That's how we managed to get the drinks. There were lot of managers on the floors but less doers (waiters). Same happened with starters also. No clue for more than 30 minutes. Again I had to fight with their managers. Every time they asked me to lower my voice, apologized and promised best service but no impact at all. After all push and fights they did little better during the main course. In the end they took 10 minutes to get the finger bowls and asked us if we can manage with paper tissues instead. Never ever seen such kind of worst service. My suggest to everyone Never ever visit this horrible place again.

Cheats is the word for Crowne Plaza. Horrible new year experience. Worst food. Most unprofessional hospitality and service. Very bad quality food. Not expected from a 5 star fraud hotel. Meat was totally without marinating, not even salt and was raw like rubber Unchewable. Only one starter in buffet. Manager Shyamal was shameless & useless, he argued on a meat which was too salty. Only one chicken dish in main course that too tasteless. Masoor dal in buffet shockingly smelly. Never had such bad experience with food. Worst Buffet and cheating customers. They did not even offer a welcome softdrink in a Buffet of 2500 per person just imagine. Request the management to either close this Fraud on Buffet or pay back my money & time I wasted!!

I recently dined at Edesia Restaurant and had a disappointing experience. The food served was consistently cold, which greatly affected the overall dining experience. Additionally, the buffet had a limited variety of options, leaving much to be desired in terms of selection. I hope Edesia can improve the temperature and variety of their dishes in the future.

Well the food is half the quality as advertised and service is 1/4 of that !!! Looks more like a central jail with the bouncers staring at every man and women alike no wonder it’s empty most of the time !!!
