One of the best South Indian restaurants I’ve visited! Fresh food, authentic Karnataka flavours, and an impressive Jain menu available all year round. The Jain Benne Dose with Raw Banana Palya was my favourite. Highly recommended!

Not quite the South Indian experience the name promises Visited the CP outlet expecting an authentic South Indian feel, given the name "Gokulam." Ordered the Benne Dosa (their specialty), the Gokulam Special Idlis (all 5 varieties), and a cold coffee. The Benne Dosa was disappointing — it was oily rather than the rich, ghee-laden crispness you'd expect, and the texture was hard instead of moist. The idlis were decent, nothing more. Overall, an average experience that falls short when compared to established South Indian chains from Bangalore. Expected much better given the branding and specialty claims.

Food was good. Podi idli, filter coffee and vanila icecream with gulkand and banana was too good. Benne and mysore masala dosa was good. Outer layer of dosa was thick and crispy. Staff was responsive. Seating arrangement was spacious. Two birthday parties were going on, so it was not peaceful.
