If I could give this place zero stars, I would. What was supposed to be a premium dining experience at Gola's so-called Prive turned into one of the most disappointing restaurant visits I've had. It honestly feels like they've changed the name, increased the prices, and forgotten everything that made Gola worth visiting in the first place. The service was embarrassingly bad. Staff seemed clueless, there was no coordination, and getting anyone's attention felt like a favour. The managers were even worse—dismissive, arrogant, and more interested in defending the restaurant than listening to genuine feedback. There wasn't a single moment where anyone showed the slightest concern about the experience they were delivering. Now to the food—the biggest disaster of the evening. The Tandoori Malai Chaap was an insult to the name. There was absolutely nothing "tandoori" about it. Instead of smoky, well-marinated chaap, we were served a bowl of onion-heavy malai gravy with chaap that was raw and undercooked. The texture was unpleasant, the flavours were flat, and the entire dish looked like it had been thrown together without any quality check. It was sent back after barely a bite. Then came the one dish Gola built its reputation on—the sizzler. After making us wait almost 40 minutes for a single platter, expectations were at least that it would justify the delay. It didn't. What arrived was a lifeless, disappointing excuse for a sizzler. The only thing sizzling was the metal plate. The food itself lacked flavour, looked carelessly plated, and completely failed to resemble the iconic sizzlers Gola was once known for. It felt like a restaurant living off nostalgia while serving food that belongs nowhere near a premium menu. For the prices they're charging, the quality is simply unacceptable. Premium pricing demands premium food, premium service, and attention to detail. This place delivered none of those. It's genuinely sad to see a once-loved brand fall this far. The rebranding to Prive seems to have focused on appearances rather than substance. You can change the name, redesign the interiors, and raise the prices, but if the food and service are this poor, customers won't keep coming back. Save your money and your time. There are countless better restaurants offering superior food, better service, and far better value. This was a thoroughly disappointing experience, and I certainly won't be returning. Not recommended.

One of the worst dining experiences I've had. The manager was unbelievably rude, arrogant and completely lacked even the most basic customer service skills. Instead of addressing concerns professionally, they spoke to us in a disrespectful and dismissive manner, which ruined the entire evening. To make matters worse, the food was terrible. The quality was far below expectations, the dishes lacked flavour, and nothing justified the prices being charged. It's disappointing when a restaurant fails at both hospitality and food. There are plenty of restaurants that value their customers and serve much better food. I would strongly advise people to avoid Gola Privé until they seriously improve their management, customer service and food quality. Based on my experience, I have no intention of returning.
