Amazing Oyster Motoyaki and scrumptious pekking pancakes. And heavenly water chestnut and bokchow dimsums. Also has couples that come here for food but don’t talk to each other so makes for a peaceful environment.

Green mantis has an amazing vibe. Food menu has a colourful, tasteful variety. Kiran helped me out with her suggestions of Raw Papaya Salad which was every bit scrumptious.

Excellent staff! Ordered jackfruit rendang with roti canal, Vietnamese tofu bowl, crispy enoki bunch and bitter lemon. Amazing dishes!

Went here on a friend’s reco. Loved the som tam salad, the crispy aubergine with the peanut based curry. Quite tasty and may options as this is 100% vegetarian place in the tony Khan market. The edamame with black bean sauce was too salty , the sautéed veg that was customised was quite raw and oily too. Overall pricey but would recommend it for the Simran definitely Good rating - 3.5 /5 Service - special mention to Kiran , our hostess and sunny the manager 5/5 Ambience -4/5 altho the seating could be very better. Our table was quite cramped . Overall 4/5

This was our second visit to the restaurant and food was decent but not great as food was being served cold and had to tell them to reheat it again, so yea won't be visiting again.

The food came pretty late but overall taste was really good.. considering there were less people the food should’ve been less than hour an hour wait.

The Japanese burger and dim-sums were good! However, the laksa was below average. We had mentioned it twice to the restaurant manager, but he didn’t offer any replacement or adjustments. It was simply uneatable.

The restaurant is fairly cramped. Not a lot of space. We had ordered Avocado sushi, Singapore noodles and Ema datchi. Avocado sushi- 2/5 (avocado was not properly ripe and the sushi had negligible cream cheese, so it didn’t end up tasting too great) Ema datchi- 4/5 (the curry was a mix of Ema datchi and Thai curry. It was delicious even if it wasn’t authentic Ema datchi) Singapore noodles: 3/5 (spice and flavourful but also visibly oily. The noodles were dry and the waiter didn’t recommend us to get a side dish for it. ) Service (on Sunday)- quite bad. They called us to the table before they had prepared it. The waiter apparently goofed up (because of the Sunday rush) and our order was not communicated to the kitchen. We checked a couple of times with the staff who said it’s coming, without really checking (because none of them went to the restaurant, they remained near the waiting tables only) Only when we were stern, they checked in the kitchen and it turned out that the order never reached the kitchen. The staff then spent a lot of energy in trying to be apologetic (which felt unnecessary cus by this time we were starving).

We went to Green Mantis with a lot of expectations given the reviews. I guess it was a bad day... Firstly, the plates given to us had dirt in it, had a hair. After this changed, we had to wait for our our order for more than 45 mins... While guests who came in later, were being served food. They told us later there was a glitch and that our order had not even gone to the kitchen. Finally when the food arrived, the main dish came first, and the starter came in later The main dish laksa curry was cold... Like it had been ready since some time. While the mamagement was okay to not bill us for the main dish... But this didn't compensate for our time and experience.

Very bad food and service was also very bad. There were dragon flies and flies all around. the food was taste less. the staff was rude. the ambience was not welcoming at all. and pathetic service. please dont go to green mantis
