elia and lotus really helped us with the menu a lot. it was amazing to be exploring Korean authentic food. we had kimchi rameon which was awesome and soju and duck hunje ori gui which was average.

Amazing experience! though I dont get to visit often but I always have the best time here! the food is always fresh and ample. and it as authentic as it can be the food and the ambience. Love it!

They could play the music little less loud but guess it depends from guests to guest. We enjoy conversation so it helps with a little less noise. Could place two menus on the table.

Very authentic food!!!! And a warm and cozy setup, along with polite and attentive staff. Totally loved this place.

Our experience and taste of the food was great as always! But, unfortunately this time we found a hair on the rice (of stir Fried squid dish ) and that put us all off immediately. Though they got us a new plate after sometime and we had it and it was a tasty.. but we still kept wondering if it was actually freshly cooked dish or maybe the old one only! We can only hope the new dish was fresh and clean coz we ate it lol.. we were hungry. The staff service has always been a tad bit unfriendly but am used to it now.. there is nothing to complain either . A little more smile and warmth would make diners experience much better though.

Slightly disappointed after going to Gung. There are 2 floors, first floor has normal tables and chairs, second floor has low table with cushions in a cubicle type fashion. Try to specify this when booking since it’s probably the best thing about this place. Food was average. Kimchi was a disaster.

I’ve been a Korean food fanatic for the longest time , have eaten it around the world and also cook it at home from time to time . I was so excited to go eat here that I made a reservation and planned everything in advance because I wanted it to be perfect but honestly left here so disappointed . The food was just BAD, the servers very mean and inhospitable. We ordered the pajeon , chicken mandu, jeyuk pork deopbap and chicken bibimbap and a Korean grape juice and the only things palatable from all that was the Mandu and the grape juice . The pajeon was under cooked and stoggy , the chicken bibimbap just tasted off and the jeyuk pork was absolutely bland , not even salt in it . When I asked the server if she can rake it back and maybe ask chef to atleast add salt , she was extremely mean and said that Korean food doesn’t have salt . Like what ? I’m a professional chef myself and have been eating and cooking Korean food for ages , when I told her that she stormed off extremely rudely . We didn’t finish anything except the Mandu and just left everything as is as reatraunt didn’t seem to care even after we complained . It hurt my heart to pay well over 3k for food we didn’t even eat .

For the amount of good reviews i heard, it was the worst experience i’ve had with a korean restaurant. The staff was super mean, not nice. Served wrong dishes, was mean about changing it. Ordered Tuna roll, was super dry and not made nicely. The only thing worth trying is Soju and Korean chicken. The Spicy sea food stock ramen was quite bland. Nothing in it could be called spicy. I hope ya’ll try and improve somethings and the staff for sure.
