If you can over power you senses and get pass all the temptations, cravings, hunger pangs and reach this place with some space in the stomach, you for sure have attained Nirvana. And as a reward for all the effort, you get treated to one of the best Nihari one can have in this entire area. Located very far from the hustle bustle surrounding Gate 1 of Jama masjid, this little cozy place is difficult to find. Take a few rights and lefts into the world famous streets of Chitli Qabar, this place has 5 tables, no AC , no cooler — Just the food and the taste. Tried the Mutton Nihari (yes, they serve Mutton Nihari as well) along with Khameeri Roti. Nihari was absolutely perfectly cooked and was the perfect blend of spice and taste. Roti are made in the underground tandoor and are crisp and hot. The combination works wonders and is a treat to the taste buds and senses. Other items of the menu include Beef Nihari, Nalli Nihari , brain curry. Ambience lovers will be put off by the ambience and some bit of hygiene, but what the heck. The place just screams taste taste and just taste !!!

Finding so much in new place, new area. Taking help from Google Map and some Helping strangers, at last, reach “Haji Shabrati Nihari Wala”. Located in small streets and very crowded area of Jama Masjid, New Delhi. Ordered “Nalli Nihari” (Bdde ka Gosht) with Khameeri Roti. As usual, Nihari is always served with Ghee above it. I am fond of Mutton Nihari from Hawa Mahal, Jaipur. I thought it can reach near to it. But was not that good, i am not satisfied with this at all. This is just one time try for me. I ordered Quarter with one Roti, because i was looking just for taste. Tastes good, fresh and Roti was soft. I can recommend for one time try for sure. Ambience: 3 🌟 Location : 2 🌟 (Damn Crowded) Taste : 3 🌟 Price : 4 Star 🌟 (Rs. 150 for Quarter Nihari + Khameeri Roti)

Visited Shabrati Nahari Shop at Jama Masjid. Touted as the 2nd best place in Jama Masjid for Nihari (Kallu Nihari is touted as Number 1 in Jama Masjid, Delhi), this made for an interesting first experience of sampling Nihari. Whilst having it at the place felt ok, we packed for home too, and must say this tasted better the next day with the chilli and ginger garnish added with fresh Khamiri roti ordered from nearby home. The masalas are less compared to Korma and Stew dishes, and the taste is more focussed on the actual food. Looking forward to sampling Nihari from more renowned places, and would recommend checking this place out.

Lets get away with critism first: Dont even think about the ambience and hygiene at this outlet... i live near by and i never eat their always take away for home The place is famous for nihari and it is completely worth your every penny... There is nothing better than eating it in early morning with nali(bone marrow) along side... You can have beja(brain) too but i personally dont like it and if you think its too spicy for your taste buds...than deal with it cause thats how it is supposed to be....

Want to have the perfect nihari and hot tandoori rotis venture deep into the alleys of Jama Masjid to find this legendary nihari guy who open as early as 6am in the morning. It serves the subtle looking nihar which has slow cooked into it for hours. Dont look for hygiene or ambience. These place are legendary and are as old as delhi itself

A hole in the wall shop in the bylanes of Jama masjid area. Gmaps comes handy at such locations else any local can guide you here. Their Nihari is one of the best in Delhi. Though i felt the meat could have been more tender. Loved the roti though. Pricing is very cheap and dont expect ambiance. Not a family place

Amongst all the places where I had Nihari, this is the best. Specially when you ask them to add brain. Prompt service. When you come to these joints in Old Delhi then please don't expect anything in terms of aesthetic ambience and all. Not a place for vegetarians. Carry cash or use UPI for payment..No cards.

I have eaten Nihari at many restaurant , this place is really over hyped , Do not know why everybody talks about there Nihari bloggers and V bloggers keep praising this place , They serve only Bade ( baffalo Meat ) ki nihari . Taste was very ordinary . Place is very ordinary and you cannot sit there and eat .

Nihari was the one of the thing everyone with me was eager to try. The shop is located deep in jama mazid area. The place is small. They have variety what you want in your nihari. The nihari was not that great the way it is hyped. The khamri roti was great. This was my first nihari experience, you can have your and try this place.

Huge expectation wake at 6 am lot of temptation in mind ... Just wana have this ..but when i finally had ... disappointed ..i dnt knw what exactly went wrong in it but definitely not my taste... not liked at all... Only 2 star woh khamiri roti that was fluffy n soft ...
