This place is famous for its chawal rajma, chawal kadhi and more. I tried a rajma chawal plate which was served with papad, green chutney and onion salad. The taste was good but there is no place to sit and it was very crowded. If you are in the area, you can give it a try.

I recently tried the Super Deluxe Thali at Jain Chawal Wale in CP, and it was a satisfying experience. The thali had a good variety of dishes — flavorful dal, fresh seasonal sabzi, paneer gravy, rice, roti, raita, and salad. The taste was simple, homely, and comforting. Portions were generous, and everything was served hot and fresh. The place is usually crowded, which shows how popular it is. Seating is basic, but service is quick and efficient. It’s more about the food than vibe here. Overall, a great option if you want pocket-friendly, pure vegetarian North Indian food in Connaught Place. Definitely worth trying if you enjoy traditional thali meals.

I visited today(25/11/2023) at Jain chawal wale for the first time in my life with my friends and we ordered rajma chawal , kadhi chawal and chhole bhature and after receiving the order as I took my first bite of chhole bhature I saw a cockroach in chhole and we all got totally mad so we show that to the owner and he said sorry and asked me to take another plate but we refused to take it bcoz as you all can understand that cockroach was in chhole so it means the whole container of chhole was infectious so we didn’t take another plate and told him to work on their hygiene and also the rajma chawal and kadhi chawal taste was average so we threw all of it in the dustbin and we all left from there 😑. It is just the all hype which people made of them but truly it is not value for money, so I will not recommend to anyone to go and eat there and if you still going to eat there so please check your food before eating 🙏🏻 as well as if you are ordering from home please check it .

it is overhyped . the taste is average for all rice meals and worst of snacks like pav bhai (bhaji was sweet, it seems like it was made out of ketchup), Bhatura were raw and less cooked, channas were hard. it seems they are just cashing the brand and not really bothered about quality. and don't talk about hygiene of the place, kitchen and serving place both are so dirty which made all of the experience worst. note: I am going to this place for last 3 to 4 years but with every passing day or months , quality , taste and hygiene is deteriorating

So finally went to Jain Chawal to see what the fuss is all about. Came back home with disappointment. Pathetic food. I tried their so called ‘Lip Smacking’ Rajma chawal and kadhi Chawal. I won’t say they were bad . Well they were horrible. No taste, too salty.

I ordered today via Zomato malai tikka chaap was completely dry there was almost no malai and chutney also missing it was only topped on onions this is the worst chaap i ever had I had to throw away my dinner got ruined.
