We visited this on the Maha Sasthi for vegetarian options. It was crowded, which is nothing unusual for a Sunday. A table for two is never difficult to find so we got seated soon. I ordered Mysore Dosa but there was no masala left and it would take half an hour more and I was famished so opted for Medu Vada. Husband chose Chole Bhature as he was in no mood for South Indian. The bhature were huge and the chole really very sumptuous. Medu Vada were crispy, soft and tasty. I didn't like the sambar though. I know generally Sambars are a little watery but I prefer thicker ones. chutneys were awesome, refreshing, and yummy. Next time I want to have Vegetarian South Indian, I will visit it for sure.

The food served was cold, the drinking water was warm!!! When asked upon why the services are different from the services at Kailash Colony, we were told that Kailas Colony focuses on family, while Barakhamba Road has a focus on office going people… could not understand this statement at all!! Despite the orders from the Supreme Court of India, they levy a service charge of 10%, and when asked to be removed, they force your name and mobile number to be disclosed!! Horribly high priced with no quality or service at all, the team is full of arrogance. Will not recommend this particular outlet at all.

Security guard taking waitings, no proper table allocations, sat there for good 10 minutes before getting and asking for a menu as nobody approached the table, food order was taken but later on informed that the items are not available, a few items on the menus to be specific, parotta was communicated by a senior holder as to have never been served in the restaurant and idly we do not take order for it, the staff was borderline defensive, very for a Sunday which is always expected to be a busy day, the restaurant was not ready, items not available, staff missing from the floor.

The most shitty south indian food ever. Vada was undercooked on the inside and so tight. The garlic masala dosa was bearable at best. Thatte Idli again was dry on the inside and grainy. No softness no sponginess that soaks in the ghee and masala. Filter cold coffee is nice as usual rest IT IS TRULY THE WORST PLACE TO HAVE FOOD and mind you we had the most basic items like thatte idli and sambar vada. Sambar was fine! The crockery has also worsened / it used to be served on a leaf and everything pretty way. This was bad

Worst south indian you could ever have. Pathetic food. High price. The owner is sitting in New York and has opened this restaurant for easy money. I am an avid south indian food eater. Have had south indian food in South India for 5 years and tried so many south indian food places in Delhi as well. We ordered Dosa, Paniyaram, Bisebelle baath, upma. All were so awful. Only the ambience is high end. Should name their place as “Juggernaut (meaning huge)- Plates and bills”

Pathetic service. Our server left in the middle of service and replacement was very rude. Coffee came cold and without any accompaniments. Manager didnt come to meet us. Highly disappointed. Super rude staff in cream kurta and behind the till.
