We ordered Rava Dosa, Uttapam, and the Kanjivaram Special Dosa—everything tasted amazing! The flavors were spot on, and the service was equally good. A great overall experience!

Visited Kanjivaraam for lunch on a Saturday afternoon after receiving a few recommendations. While there is plenty of street parking in front of the restaurant, we could not find any due to the rush as there was limited available spots. Thankfully, they have complimentary valet parking available so parking was a breeze. Irrespective of the crowd. There was ~20-30 min waiting at Kanjivaraam but the front desk were diligent in managing the rush and we got our table as promised after 4 turns in ~23 min. Coming to the food, we had Kuzhi Paniyaram, Keerai Vada, Medhu Bada, Chettinad Masala Dosa, Rava Masala Dosa, Filter Cold Coffee, Tender Coconut ice cream. I highly recommend all starter and main course items as they were exceptional and well prepared. Beverages and desserts were average but I decided not to reduce a star because they delivered as promised on the South Indian cuisine. While I acknowledge it was a busy Saturday afternoon with many patrons seated inside and plenty waiting outside, I feel the service could have been a bit better. While it's understandable that any item needing fresh preparation would take time, I was surprised at the laxity when it came to serving sambhar and chutneys. The dishes had bare minimum quanitities of sambhar and chutney, which is again understandable since the restaurant wanted to maintain equal weightage to presentation and taste. However, there is no excuse for the incessant delays around serving of sambhar and chutneys during our visit. Even if I chalk it down to a one-off, I deducted one star simply because that on the rare occasion they did supply sambhar and chutney, the portion size was minimal as if there was a shortage and they were trying to ration the same.

Forgot part of the order, even on reordering they couldn’t get it and then happily canceled the order after 30 min of wait

Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/10) I rarely write reviews, but our experience at Kanjivaram was so disappointing that I felt the need to warn others. We went in for a Sunday Brunch, expecting a pleasant meal, but it ended up being a total waste of time and money. • The Food: We ordered the Palak Patta Chaat, which was clearly stale. It lacked any freshness and was difficult to eat. To make matters worse, the Dosa took over 30 minutes to arrive at our table. For a restaurant specializing in South Indian cuisine, this kind of delay is unacceptable. • Service & Staff Attitude: This was the most frustrating part. The staff has a massive attitude problem. The servers are completely dishonest; they will weave any story or excuse to cover up delays, treating customers as if they are fools who won't notice the manipulation. The arrogance displayed by the team is shocking. • Value for Money: The prices are extremely high for the quality of food and service provided. It is heavily overpriced and simply not worth the premium they charge. Overall, they managed to completely spoil our Sunday Brunch. If you are looking for a respectful atmosphere and fresh food, I suggest looking elsewhere in Gurgaon. Save your money and your mood.
