The food and service were excellent. However, when I went to pay the bill using the 'District app' and they realized I was entitled to a discount, the manager came over and treated me very rudely. Even though he knew I was celebrating my female friend birthday, he behaved insolently and insisted that I pay without using the app. When we stood our ground, he said we would have to pay the service charge, or else he wouldn't accept the payment. And as far as I know, government guidelines don't require a service charge, but they forced us to pay with a service charge if we used the District app. It was a terrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend going there because the manager level staff are very uncouth

Very disappointing experience — misleading discount and forced service charge I booked Koala Kitchen Bar through District by Zomato specifically because of the advertised 30% discount. However, at the restaurant, I was presented with a bill that included a mandatory 10% service charge. this is extremely misleading. I refused to pay the service charge, as I understand that restaurants cannot forcibly impose it on customers. If a restaurant advertises an attractive discount but then adds a charge that customers are made to believe is compulsory, it completely defeats the purpose of the offer and leaves a very bad impression. I would strongly recommend checking the bill carefully before paying and questioning any mandatory service charge. The whole experience made me feel that the advertised discount was being offset through additional charges.

Worst experience. The manager was extremely unprofessional and unhelpful, making the entire experience very frustrating. They also appear to be misleading customers through Zomato bookings. Very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this place.

- The food is below average. - Half the items on the menu are unavailable. - The prices are really not worth it. - The ambiance is not good at all, with broken furniture, seepage on the walls, and an awful crowd. - Overhyped; please avoid.

Too overpriced . Service charge too high . Zomato Discount gets almost less than half due to exorbitant service charge. Only few dishes and snacks are good . Rest are below average. I will not recommend going to koala. Too overpriced.

very poor service and they are cheating in the name of packages. they mixed some cheap sprit in the drinks, we were a group of 16 and every one who take drinks felt ill.

Pathetic service and stale food. I requested to replace one of the dishes to which the chef said that’s how it’s prepared. Never coming back again.

Vibe of the place was very negative Staff was rude and we were forced to pay service charge despite the fact that the service was bad. Food was ok
