One of the best restaurants in the area! 🌟 The veg kebab was absolutely delicious – it tasted just like a mutton galouti. For non-veg lovers, the special Chapta Kebab is a must-try, easily one of the best you can get. Their drinks are also fantastic and definitely worth trying. Highly recommended!

Lanterns Kitchen & Bar is definitely a place I’d love to revisit. It checks all the boxes – good food, great vibe, attentive service, and fair pricing. Perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some delicious meals in Patel Nagar.

I have been coming here for the past 10 yeare.the food used to be delicious in this kitchen. The head chef is absolutely ruining the place and doing injustice with the standard recipes. we have ordered hot and sour soup and Shitake mushroom wasn't these we have told this to the manager. then we ordered a chicken Ceaser salad and I was surprised and amazed to see that there were no cheese, black olives and bread croutons in the salad. I was absolutely disappointed with the food however the service guys and manager were quite humble.

We were 10 people and we went to Lanterns. We had seen their banner on Zomato that they offer liquor on MRP and that’s why we decided to go there. When we reached there they had it written on their menu that Bombay Sapphire bottle is for around ₹2000 and it was pretty cool of them to offer the bottle at this rate in Delhi. When we asked for it, they said they do not have Bombay Sapphire. So we said give us any other gin which was there in their menu, Gordons or Beefeater or Tanqueray which are cheaper gins cost wise than Bombay Sapphire. They said, they will only offer it at ₹6800. We felt quite conned because of the same. Basically they are enticing people to come down to their place and then not offering the liquors at the cost which is mentioned. Either don’t mention it as your USP or offer it at the price you’re mentioning. So, basically just because we had reached there, we had to deal with it and order at more than 3x cost. Other than that, in case you’ve not been there to the market where it’s situated, you might get horrified at once seeing the kind of gentry which is there and it’s quite dark. One of our female friends who was coming alone literally got scared because of the same. Coming onto food, it was good, pasta, pepperoni pizza were the highlights. We had ordered two hookahs, one was really good but the other one tasted like vim bar because of the lemon base they use. In case you don’t like loud music, avoid sitting in the closed area, they’ve got really loud nouse and the ambience is also quite shady and dark. But since they’ve renovated the terrace, it looks really beautiful now. Overall, if they hadn’t conned us for the liquor, it would’ve been a great experience.

We usually go to BYOBs in Gurgaon but yesterday all our friends were in Delhi and we were looking for a decent place with reasonable prices of liquor since we were a group of people and we all mostly have good capacity! Most of us in the group drink gin and we had seen the menu, they were offering the bottle for around 2k and when we asked them for the same they said it’s unavailable. When we asked them for any other brand of gin which were cheaper, they said they will only offer it for 5000 plus taxes. We were quite shocked to hear that. Since post taxes it was almost more 3 times the price. Their strategy is to call people saying that they’re offering Drinks on MRP but then spoiling people’s evenings once they’re there. The owners of the place are usually at the place having hookah most of the times, but they also don’t bother much if you’re facing these kind of issues. Of course they only train their staff to do such things. We’ve been visiting this place for almost 7-8 years now, and many a times we have seen such issues where they charge extra for drinks since people are drunk and would offer them a lower brand of liquor saying it’s something else. The food of the place is really nice, we tried a lot of things and most of them were delicious. One should run their business ethically, charge 1000 rupees for a peg of Bacardi if you want to be a premium place but don’t use these unethical methods by writing something else and offering something else.

Worst place ever. They will con you like anything. If you are searching for a suggestion for whether to visit or not then please don’t go here and waste your time and money and maybe visit some better bars and restos which I don’t think the city is lacking.

The place is dimly lit, even then I spotted a cockroach roaming on the table. The only saving grace is the staff, the food and the decor not so.
