Visited the restaurant on Jamai Shoshti with family, including kids and elderly. Despite anticipating a wait, we ended up waiting over an hour to be seated. Once seated, we had to wait some more to get a suitable table. Although the food arrived promptly and was hot and delicious with authentic flavors, the experience was marred by several issues. The seating was extremely cramped, making it difficult to move. Moreover, the restaurant's hygiene was subpar, with food and menus scattered on the floor. Given the unpleasant experience, I wouldn't be visiting, again.

To begin with, one has to stand in a long queue. My first thought was because it could be because of good food. Unfortunately, it is because they are really really slow at their service. Even to clean a table they will make you wait for 15 minutes. Once you get in, again you have to keep asking for food and wait for another 20-25 minutes. The food is not freshly prepared because the ilish paturi I ordered seemed to have gone bad because of keeping outside for long hours. Food is so overpriced and tastes below average. They charge very high for packaging as well. If you confront them politely, they will simply ask you to not visit again. Extremely rude and unprofessional! 3 of us customers at the same time had the same issue but they showed arrogance and wrong attitude to each one of us. Went with high hope and love for Bengali food and people, but will never visit again.

Maa Tara used to be a very good bengali restaurant but looks like they are unable to handle the fame they earned in last many years. They don’t have ore-reservation system of the tables which makes you wait and wait for your turn. Once seated and place your order, you need to wait and wait before your order arrives and that too incomplete. We had wait at least for an hour to be seated and another hour before our order arrived. It was a kind of harassment that you keep asking for the food you ordered and you’re paying for multiple times. Horrible service. The taste of food have also gone down significantly. Will never visit this place ever.

The quality of food here has gone completely to the dogs. They served us stale food. The koraishuti was outright rotten. When we confronted the waiter, he shamelessly admitted that the masala had been sitting in the fridge and that’s why it reeked like absolute garbage. Imagine serving this filth to customers! It was downright pathetic, unhygienic, and irresponsible. I’ve attached the bill as proof. Refrain from visiting this place unless you want to risk falling sick.

The worst restaurant ever so me and my mom went with hungry stomach and we ordered fish thali to my surprise the thali came after an hour that too after telling them again and again and when the thali came it was cold smelly soggy and what not please do not go there it’s a horrible place to eat

The owner’s daughter or daughter in law whoever she is….is very much rude and only gives the preference to bengali people. She is very biased and has no sense to attend the customers. Rather the uncle who is most probably the owner of the restaurant is very sweet and helpful too!

This restaurant is running a scam. Ordered food online and the only rotis that were available we're "butter rotis". When the delivery came it was stale chapatis from the previous day.

We waited for one hour for our daab malai and still the waiter gave it to some other table- asked is to wait another 30 mins to get the second plate!

DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE. Extremely rude stuff, food quality has degraded to abysmal levels. And the behaviour of the staff is absolutely pathetic.
