We had the worst experience at Machan! The staff was completely unprofessional to the point that one of the servers took our menus back even before we had placed our order. The restaurant Manager, Mr Varun Sharma was extremely rude and went out of his way to make us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome!! I made a complaint against him to the Manager which was swiftly dismissed. As for the food, it was disappointing and sub par. The dal machan was bitter, the papad sabzi was over salty and the chicken curry was served stone cold! I would not recommend this place to anyone! Machan has really fallen in standards from its glory days! I'd rather go to the Roseate for a good meal with my family!!

The dining experience was extremely disappointing. Ordered Nalli Nihari, which tasted completely off, lacking any authentic flavors. The Chicken Tikka Masala in the main course was no better—rubbery, hard pieces and a flavor profile that was way off the mark. For a place with a 5-star rating, the quality of food was absolutely subpar and nowhere near what you’d expect. Definitely not worth the price, and will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone.

The service here is horrible. first you need to wait to get the menu card which itself takes about 10-15 mins due to the lethargic attitude of people serving food. Then you have to wait for another 30-35 mins to get food. This is when there is less occupancy ( afternoon hours) please avoid coming to this horrible place. they are not 1% of what Taj should be.

Horrible service ! Not befitting the Taj Brand.The staff had no clue as to how to handle orders.Food served was cold and delayed beyond our patience levels.Orders messed up untrained staff. A lot needs to be done to improve service standards.This iconic restaurant seems to have gone to the dogs.

Below average food. I expected Dal machan to be a delicacy but Dal machan was awful, had sour taste. Garlic Naan was like rubber. Had to chew so hard, that my mouth started aching.

Do not come here. The worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life. It’s shocking that this is a Taj restaurant. Food was also average for the prices charged.

Poor service and food was definitely not up to the mark. Dal machan was way too thick and tasted sour. Naan was also very chewy and stale. Bad experience overall.

Just had bullseye from there and started vomiting after coming back. Staff was unpleasant as they’re doing us some favor. Never going there again.
