(Disclaimer: This is not a reviewer talking but a loyal customer who has enjoyed almost every meal. Now be it because of friends or food, does not matter, right?) If you like to eat only at fancy cafes and restaurants then my friend this is not for you. It is old, and still nobody cares to paint the walls. They make almost any sabzi creamy, yet, the sabzi tastes just perfect. Their waiters are not exactly professionals, but they know everything about all the dishes inside out. The service is super fast. They serve the most lovely Gulaab Jamuns. Guess what? They even offer our college and a few others a 10% discount.   All this makes Secular what it is. It has the most lively crowd even without any music. You will hardly find a place to sit inside on the weekends. There are queues lined up outside to get their seats and yet the kitchen serves everyone. It is loved by one and all. Vegetarians love it and for non-vegetarians, it is a paradise. I live a Kilometer away from Secular and this is our anytime go-to place to grab a bite; well, not just bite but a whole lot of food. There is hardly any comparable place in the area. It is a must-visit if you have still not tried it yet. I've been here multiple times and I yet have to come across bad food. Next I will try their evening special and South Indian food.

Tasty food and diverse choices at lower costs. Service is awesome and they don't charge u much of the tax burden, plus Students from JNU, NII, IIT, ICGEB, etc can get 10% discounts on total billing on presenting their valid institutional ID

Spent most of my college life eating from here and this restaurant provides one of the best quality food without digging much into your pockets. Paneer butter masala is a must try!

Pocket friendly restaurant and famous among the students.Food quality is not too great but ambience reminds me of college days.If you wanna remember you college days its a choice but don't expect the food to be marvelous.

Decent place, ambience is not something you should go here for. It's cheap and has good food. Chilli potato was really good. Masala dosa was fine. Their Shahi paneer and butter chicken are the most famous dishes.

Very disappointed ordered chicken tikka from there, it was very bad no at all fresh spicy too much salt and when I contacted the restaurant they themselves told me that may be it was too salted and spicy and when I asked for new order they refused. Very bad service not supportive at all. One time you oder from after some time they will start mix things make it spicy not value for money. Total wastage of money. Definitely not ordering from there.

Horrible experience; ordered 14 plates of Dhai Vada but got only 13 plates and the packing was very cheap like it was ordered from a roadside stand. Dahi and wada were already mixed in a ploy bag it was very disappointing.

We ordered 7 plates of Dahi Bhalle, but the secular house sent us only 6.5 (6 and a half plates). Whereas the bill was made of 7 plates. Their packing method is very bad. The quality was also rubbish.
