Cafe Me stands out among other cafe's in Janakpuri in a completely different way with subtle interiors and a near to fine dine sitting and the wall mountings turn the aura and leave a very comforting vibe for a cafe where one can sit in, relax and have a quality time with some lip smacking food. They also have a patio sitting area right outside the indoor sitting area with a couple of tables to enjoy the weather (when pleasant)  which is not a usual sight in the eateries of adjoining area Coming onto food and drinks: •Espresso is prepared with rare coco-beans which was a surprise for me, perfectly prepared served with some in-house prepared cookies which were delicious too •I visited this place to try their Mezze Menu dishes and I found their Chicken Shawarma really drool-worthy with that fancy presentation and the mouthful savour with marinated chicken fillings and sourness of pickle, too good for a Shawarma. •Mutton Biryani, when served, raised my expectations quite a lot but unfortunately, the mutton pieces didn't come out to be cooked properly.Elsewise the flavour of Biryani was good and authentic. •Chicken Shish Taouk Pita Sandwich came in with Salad and Dip and the was quite heavy for a snack but tasted really good, a must try.

This relatively new outlet in Janakpuri has opened up few months earlier backed by the all famous "Cafe me". It's conveniently located in B1 Community center, opposite to the Sai temple. I've always dug Lebanese and Middle Eastern cuisine, so I couldn't have been happier after knowing about the place. The place has made a few changes recently. They have shifted to the back side of Cafe Me now and have few tables too which they hadn't earlier. But they are yet to put up a board of 'shifted' or atleast arrow directions or something when we last visited here. I was literally heartbroken for driving here, and seeing the shutter down. Also, there were a few delivery guys from Zomato and other food delivery apps trying to figure out why was the outlet closed. Eventually the management guided me on phone for the location and I passed the info to the delivery guys too. But it was a tad bit unprofessional on their part to not put up a boarding or something. Once we arrived, the place looked really fantastic in the open. The management and staff are really friendly and humble. They are still experimenting with their seating arrangement but that should get sorted out in a fortnight or so. After much contemplation we ordered#Lebanese paneer, #Chicken shawarma and #Roasted garlic chicken for Rolls, #Chicken potli, and #Hummus and Falafel pita sandwich. The dishes started arriving on our table in quick succession without much delay. Everything was cooked to perfection. But, the rolls! Every bite into #Chicken Shawarma or #Roasted garlic chicken was pure bliss!! 😍 One thing I would mention here is that, the #Rolls have outer layer like wraps and not as traditional rolls, but no harm done. And yeah they serve complimentary dips with every #Roll. #Chicken potli is fabulous too; very uniquely conceptualized both look and taste wise. The #Hummus and Falafel sandwich was amazing in itself, but I got disappointed with the #hummus dip. I felt like it should have been more fermented maybe; in any case, it was lacking in expected taste. They served in the plastic plates and bowls rather than cutlery, and it can get difficult to directly use dips onto rolls from containers. I'm hoping that by the next time I visit here the seating, hummus and other minor hiccups improve. I ordered a few times for home delivery after my visit for other items and they tasted quite good. P.S - The manager came and asked us for feedback for everything, and said would be improving on the feedbacks given which we really liked. THE GOOD: * #CHICKEN POTLI, #KEBAB PLATTERS AND THE VARIETIES OFFERED (MOST OF THEM ARE FABULOUS), AND FOR #ROLLS - #CHICKEN SHAWARMA, #ROASTED GARLIC CHICKEN AND #LEBANESE PANEER. * PRICING IS QUITE AFFORDABLE WITHOUT BURNING A HOLE IN YOUR POCKET. COST FOR TWO COMES TO AROUND $ 400 $ BUCKS. * HYGENIC AND WELL MAINTAINED. * SWIFT SERVICE AND STAFF IS COURTEOUS. THE BAD: * BEING RELATIVELY NEW, THEY'RE STILL INTO EXPERIMENTAL STAGE. * NO CUTLERY, AND HAD NO BOARDING OF PLACE HAVING SHIFTED. * HUMMUS HAS TO IMPROVE, IT BEING ONE OF THE PRIME INGREDIENTS OF SEVERAL OF LEBANESE DISHES. This is a RECOMMENDED place, and totally worth your long drive to here. I loved most of the dishes I had and I'm really rooting for this place to thrive and make it big. The place being cheap for Lebanese cuisine which is usually costly, makes it even more attractive. Here are some "food for thought" pictures for you to ponder upon. ;)
