It was a good experience. Food was good and staff made sure to ask our preferences and helped us order accordingly. Orange juice was fresh and no adulteration. The whole vibe was very french both in ambience and in food.

The chicken ham and cheese grilled sandwich was amazing! Quite juicy and mouth melting but a bit overpriced considering the portion size. the cookies and cakes are awesome. The coffee was ok however the French apricot and pistachio pastry was the worst! Smelled and tasted like raw eggs.

Quite a terrible experience on Sunday, Oct 5. We invited our friends for lunch to showcase Monique, having been customers of their desserts since Monique started in Gurgaon. Turns out delivering cakes is a vastly different experience from cooking food. The entire order took 36 minutes to come to the table (as informed by the staff) and was served piecemeal. So, as the first person nearly finished their meal, the second person was served, and so on. Eventually, two persons, one being our 3 year old kid, were left without their orders while the entire table had finished theirs! Upon enquiry, the staff informed us that orders are prepared ‘as per norms’! All this after we specifically requested the staff to prepare the kids’ meals first! The staff did make it a point to vehemently emphasise that we informed them of this ‘later’. The ‘manager’ (as he called himself), also attempted to take away the QR code that would have given us the opportunity to provide feedback! The quality of customer experience at an establishment hinges first on the manner in which the staff chooses to behave with their patrons. And in that, Cafe Monique failed spectacularly. Our Sunday lunch with family and friends met with an unfortunate end. As did our patronising of Monique henceforth.

This is the first time we visited Monique and were quite disappointed. The range of desserts was exclusive and tempting. We ordered a dark chocolate mousse and as we dug our spoons in it, we saw an ant crawling in it. Surprisingly, this was when the mousse was in a closed container. Wonder how hygiene levels are maintained with the open desserts on display.

Ordered chocolate eclair. I can honestly say that I have never had a worse eclair in my life. It was empty inside - hardly any cream. The bread was stale and the size was for a child. I can’t believe this is being rated so highly. Never ever ordering from it ever again.

very disappointing heard so much and came all the way asked for omelette and bacon - omlette came for 20 minutes- cold coffee was not even cold. The service is the pits. The staff is clueless
