If you are looking for authentic Bengali taste, Oh Calcutta is definitely one of the top most in the list of restaurants. From the starters, to the drinks to main course, the cooking is perfect. To add to the Bengali feel, the food menu has Bengali nomenclature. If you are new to their menu, don’t worry. You can refer to their menu which is pretty detailed or ask the staff for further details. The price is a little on the higher side but the food and ambience make it totally worth it.

The food was very testy.I ordered fish fry, luchi , kosha mansho(mutton), bhetki paturi and chicken biryani But bheti paturi was not upto mark Don’t order fresh lime soda its worst🤮

my first time at a bengali restaurant and I had a mixed experience overall. Toilet definitely needs better maintance n hygiene. 1) Fish - was superb and flavourful 2) steamed rice - didn’t seem fresh and was too dry. 3) Any place positioning itself as fine dining shouldn’t run out of something as basic as sparkling wine—especially when it’s clearly listed on the menu. 4) A simple detail like providing a serviette shouldn’t be overlooked. While i was initially told it wasn’t available for the day, it was brought promptly after, which made the inconsistency more apparent. 5) staff - nice, cheerful, respectful throughout. 6) cutlery crockery- nice Hoping for a better experience, i’ll return to try their other dishes or perhaps the buffet which looked appealing but I just didn’t have the appetite for it.

Their portion size is unbelievably small versus the prices they charge. Seems like an open loot. The food taste is ok types not that great.

I used to love Oh! Calcutta. For many years it was my go-to place for Bengali food. Unfortunately, since they shifted from Nehru Place to GK-3, the quality seems to have declined. The food no longer tastes the same, and the kosha mangsho, which used to be my favorite dish, has especially disappointed. During our visit yesterday, the mutton was undercooked and the luchis were cold. Sadly, it even led to stomach issues shortly after the meal and the next day. We had also tried ordering from their cloud kitchen in Noida last year and had a similar experience. At that time we assumed it might just be an off day, so we decided to give the dine-in experience another chance. Unfortunately, the issues remained. It is disappointing because this used to be one of our favorite places, but after the recent experiences, we will likely not be visiting or ordering again.
