Paatra is one of the specialty dining restaurants at the well-known and strategically located Jaypee Vasant Continental. Having heard a lot of positive reviews about Paatra, I decided to pay a visit and dine at Paatra for lunch.  Catering to Indian delicacies, Paatra has become one of favorites and top recommendations to relish quality Indian cuisine complemented by attentive service and attention to detail.  Here's what I liked the most about my meal at Paatra.  First things first, a welcome drink that paired Basil and Mint was presented as a refreshing start to the meal and the Amuse Bouche utilized the highly beneficial Makhana (lotus seed) and lotus stem to present a vibrant palate arouser.  Among the appetizers, I relished the aesthetic yet delicious trio of Paratdaar Paneer (layered cheese), Dahi Aur Makhane Ki Shami (hung curd and fox nut) and Mattarwali Tikki (peas patty).  For Mains, my favorites were Paneer Pyaz and Nadru Anjeer paired with a bread basket.  And, the dessert was the ultimate - Indian elements presented in a chic way, with cut fruits on the side. Kulfi and Rasmalai together were good to delight my sweet tooth.  I had a delicious meal at Paatra and would like to commend the team to keep their efforts going. :)

Paatra is a stone's throw from where I live, and a safe haven when it comes to taking someone out for a lunch or dinner treat. They have beautiful Indian veg and non-veg curries and appetisers, and the hassle of choosing what to order is eliminated because they have a buffet spread. So, you get to try a bit of everything (all their items are fantastic). The staff is very polite and they keep piling your plate with servings of kebabs and Indian bread. The only thing I'm not very satisfied is the dessert options - gulab jamun, fruits and an assortment of pastries - cliched. It would be better if they had more experimental and unconventional dessert choices too.

I have been visiting this restaurant for the past 10 years and it always feels so calm and welcoming every time. First let me talk about the hospitality, it’s just on the point. There is live music (on request songs also available), the ambiance is just immaculate with waiters being very polite and courteous. A proper 5 ⭐️ experience. Second I will talk about the food. So being a vegetarian and visiting this place is just on top of the world. The food is flavourful, very appetising and visually appealing. They added the banarasi chaat combo recently and it’s so good, Do try this combo: Tamatar ki Chaat, Papdi chaat and Palak patta chaat 🫶.

Paatra is indian speciality restaurant inside Jaypee vasant hotel. Perfect classic ambience for an indian restaurant. Live music will set the mood for special dinner dates. Service is top class. Food is top class. I tried special cooker chicken and by far it was on eof my favourite chicken curry in Delhi till date. Mildly spiced yet fresh. Perfection is the word. Worth trying! Prices are also in normal range considering one of the finest location of south delhi and its range of five star hotels.

Lovely breakfast spread! We were at the hotel for two days; on the first night we called for Pizza & Biryani. Their quantity is good & large I would say. The breakfast spread is fit for all :)

If you are visiting first time then you should try The food was perfect and good but for the interior I would please recommend to visit once.

I made a booking through Zomato and got a confirmation with Transaction id. When i reached the hotel they refused to even acknowledge the booking. The manager Mr Nitin the phone number on Zomato does not belong to the Hotel. They ruined the whole evening.

Zomato gold was declined on spot and prolonged delay to finalize and settle the bill. Zomato should make sure they have correct information for restaurants on their app.
