I was recommended by one of my friend about Prabhu chaat Bhandar and I visited here with my friends and to be very honest the taste was too good. Literally my mouth was watery before having the aloo chaat and at the same time hygiene was maintained and all the items were super tasty. Must try their Tikki and golgappe.

This is one place i have been coming over the years now. This is one old place where our parents find that same old school nostalgia of coming and eating here when they were young. I remember my dad telling me stories about how amazingly good the chat used to be here and how he used to save money to come here with his friends for chat party. This is not just my story, half the people who come and eat here are present for the nostalgia of it. My dad tells that the taste has reduced a bit but that still d oesn't reduce the his love for this place. Everytime we are in Delhi or any guest is in Delhi, he suggests this place as the first in his list. The prices are all somewhere betweeon 50-70 bucks and the quality and quantity are both impressive. The chat is made fresh right in front of you and it is delicious. Over the years, i have eaten almost everything more than 10 times. My favorite has to be the Aloo tikke and the aloo chat. The Bhalla papdi is what is the most famous dish of this place however, i am not a fan of it honestly. I also like Dahi panipuri but nothing beats the hot crispy tikke deep fried in desi ghee topped with chutneys and dahi. The dahi needs a special mention, for it is so thick, creamy and delectable. The cold dahi and the consistency that goes on the chat is clearly a match made in heaven. Do try if you haven't already!

Ordered dahi puchka which is their stuffed golgappa chaat it was so bad to taste. Zero hygeine levels! The guy making the chaat wasn't wearing a mask and his nails were so dirty! Never going back again! Taste wise, the chaat was so spicy and sub standard

Horrible! It was a popular go to place for years. A mandatory if you are driving to that part of town. After a really long gap visited this place twice this month. 1st visit 10 days back, visited at about 3pm, ordered aloo tikki, stuffed gol gappa and golgappa. Stuffed gol gappa had to be thrown away... so bad. Barely managed the gol gappa. Tikki was below average. Had requested the guy at tikki counter to cut the tikki - he didn't. He brushed aside the request like we were street urchins. We asked for no dahi and less saunth- again no heed. Anyway we finished and left. There was only one customer other than us. Today we stopped by with a friend visiting from dubai again after an event at around 12pm. Ordered aloochaat and tikki. The same guy on counter cranked up the gas - quickly pulled out burnt aloo into a plate. I asked him to atleast drain out the oil- again the grunt. Bad burnt tikkis too. I finally asked him to keep the chaat. Only after 5 minutes another staff came and fried the aloo again. Really bad food but the arrogance of the staff was another level.

The one star is purely for nostalgia. The taste, quality, and all that was good is now resting in peace. I tried the bharwan golgappe and aloo tikki and i felt i have some covid symptoms as it had ZERO taste. Not salty, or spicy or tangy or anything which rhymes with the concept of chaat. Please give a chance to your roadside market chaat wale bhaiya rather than the ever famous UPSC chaat bhandar! Disappointed! :(
