I had been to Chandnichowk 12 years ago before my last visit with my husband. So I didn’t remember much. My husband and I decided to explore Chandni chowk fresh and to try iconic food places. Parathe wali gali ke parathe was in our bucket list since so long and finally we got a chance to check ourselves the hype of it. As soon as we entered Parathe wali gali, I really got excited like a little kid and also got confused with so many options. Never seen before these many varieties of parathas in life ever, so much to chose from .. after thinking a little we settled down with mirchi ka paratha and 1 alloo ka paratha. Service was super quick as people were standing in a queue for their seats. Though i find the making of paratha very unhygienic and oily but I any ways had to try this. Our order got served on our table , paratha tasted heavenly.. never thought that mirchi ka paratha could taste this good.

If you want to try the original authentic Paranthe Wali Gali ke paranthe, this is the place. They have various photos too claiming to be the original. There are multiple options with respect to Paranthes and most of them are good in taste and are unique. However, keep in mind that the Paranthes are made in open by deep frying so it might affect your heart. Anyway, it's a must try place if you're in Chandni chowk.

PT Gaya Prasad Shiv Charan is located at paranthe wali galli, Chandani Chowk. This legendary place is running successfully since 1872. We ordered their special rabri parantha and paneer parantha. Rabri parantha was hot and mind blowing whereas paneer parantha was good. I love the side dishes they give which includes potato curry, tomato ketchup and pumpkin curry. Ambience was minimal, so don't expect anything fancy.

This is one of the oldest place in parathe wali gali serving delicious parathas. The parathas are deep fried and then served with chutney and potato gravy. I tried their mix veg paratha and the rabri paratha. The rabdi paratha was filled with rabdi and folded in a gujiya shape.

Visited this place after many years, and I must say that the quality has gone down several notches. The accompaniments (sabzi, achaar, chutneys) are quite good, but the core product, the paratha, is very ordinary now. We tried many varieties as below:- • Green chilli stuffed paratha: this was good. Right balance of chillies and spices. (4/5) • Aloo paratha: struggled to find the potatoes! It seemed like a bland plain paratha with traces of some indistinguishable crumbly stuff inside. (2/5) • Hing jeera: this had a huge overdose of salt, completely destroying the experience (2/5) • Cheese paratha: this is one of the several new fangled stuff that they seemed to have introduced. Ordered it on kids demand, though I didn’t expect it to be a “paratha experience”. It was yummy, like any dish with cheese overload, but nothing like a traditional stuffed paratha. And why would I go to parathe wali gali for such stuff? (3/5) How I wish restaurants would stick to a few good items rather than offering 50 different items, especially when it seems to be at the expense of losing their core product flavours. With this quality, I would rather have regular parathas than these deep-fried versions!

The oldest shop to try parathas since 1872. You will get a much elaborated varieties of parathas in the menu which we must haven't thought too. A must try is the panner cheese stuffed paratha. But there is a compulsion you will have to buy at least 2 parathas. Staff is not very much friendly and the shopkeeper is rude. Prefer to keep cash coz they dont entertain online payment much. The QR code for online payment the shopkeeper keeps hidden which is not good. Still over all the taste of the parathas are good and have maintained the legacy. Should improve in hospitality.

The OG Paratha shop in Parathe Wali gali. We got here around 3 and it was pretty crowded but we got a seat for our group of 11 within 5 minutes. We tried - matar, green chilly, mix veg, rabri, banana, dry fruit and heeng jeera parathas. The heeng jeera, chilly & rabri were the best, the banana is supposed to be their speciality but it wasn't great + had a strand of hair in it. The fact is that even with deep frying, none of the parathas were great, average at best, every filling was lacking flavour. The side chutneys and sabzis were yum, lassi was below average.

Such an overrated place , we must say. People are crowding at the outlet just for the namesack, not at all worth the money spend. Overhyped and Overpriced , such a waste of money. We tried rabri parantha & paneer roll parantha. They must work on improving the taste and , focus on hygiene & quality .We even found two hair strand in the rabdi paratha, which was pathetic , we could not eat after that, paneer stuffing had two much salt in the other parantha. Definitely not recommended or visit again.

Okay.. so i heard alot qbout this place but when i thought about parantha i didn't think that it would look or be made like a puri... they fry the parantha and very black oil which is why i didn't like it. Its a one time try thing..

They give u paranthas which don't have stuffing at all and when u say them about the same after some time they come with another parantha same like that by giving lame excuses of not giving good filling in the paranthas
