The food was good, slow service, music was okay, outside ambience was nice looking but had stink in air, probably from a nearby garbage dump But inside ambient was very nice. We sat inside and thank God we did

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Romeo Lane — 9th October What should have been a pleasant evening for our group of eight turned into an utterly humiliating experience, thanks to the discourteous behaviour of Anushka, the manager on duty. I had a confirmed reservation through Dineout, yet we were outrightly refused entry. Despite showing her the confirmed booking and requesting her to reconsider, she dismissed our reservation, stating that the venue was reserved for a party of 130 people. What made this even more baffling was that the place appeared largely empty at 7 PM. We were not asking for a favour; we were expecting a confirmed reservation to be honoured and, at the very least, to be treated with basic courtesy. Even if there was a genuine operational constraint, the least one could expect was a polite explanation rather than such dismissive behaviour. Romeo Lane, hospitality is not just about ambience and music; it is about respect, accountability, and honouring commitments. Unfortunately, your management failed on all three counts. You have not just disappointed eight guests; you have lost the goodwill of our professional and social circles. We will certainly not be recommending your establishment. I expect the management to investigate this incident and offer a genuine, unconditional apology. A generic response will not undo the experience, but taking accountability would at least demonstrate that Romeo Lane values its customers. We deserved better. Your customers deserve better. And an apology is the least you owe us.

Very disappointing experience with the staff at Romeo Lane. Due to the rain, we were travelling with my grandmother and a 10–11-month-old baby and were struggling to find a table elsewhere. The restaurant was visibly quite empty, yet we were told they couldn’t accommodate us. What was more disappointing was the attitude of the staff member outside. When we tried to explore another restaurant in the same alley, he repeatedly stopped and obstructed us from passing. A little empathy and courtesy would have gone a long way, especially given the weather and our situation. The experience was unnecessarily uncomfortable.
