We’ve been to Rooh before for a New Year’s Eve dinner. This time we returned for my birthday dinner and it was absolutely fantastic. The service was very attentive and service minded, they served me a complimentary birthday dessert as well as a cocktail and it was an extremely sweet gesture. Would definitely recommend.

While the vegetarian food ordered by us was delicious, the non-vegetarian food was below average.

The only thing premium about this place is the bill. It feels like they are charging purely for the Qutub Minar view, not the food. The menu is very limited, with hardly any options for kids. A ₹500 ice cream came in a portion barely the size of an angoori gulab jamun. The food was highly disappointing. The Pesto Paneer Tikka was cold and had nothing “tikka” about it. The butter chicken was completely spoiled, with cold chicken pieces and an odd green stuffing that made it inedible. Even the Paneer Tikka Butter Masala was just gravy with cold paneer cubes dropped in. The mocktails were average, with lemonade and mojito tasting almost identical. Spending ₹7,000 on such poor food quality and presentation was frustrating, and the dirty toilets with old yellow stains only made the experience worse. Great view, terrible food, poor hygiene, and absolutely not worth the money.

We walked into what is supposed to be an expensive fine-dining restaurant, expecting at least basic professionalism—but what we experienced was nothing short of insulting. The service was absolutely pathetic. We practically had to serve ourselves the entire time. Staff were careless, inattentive, and borderline rude. It felt like because we came in casually, they decided we weren’t “worth” proper service—which is completely unacceptable for a place charging premium prices. Fine dining isn’t just about food—it’s about experience. And this place failed miserably on that front. No courtesy, no respect, no effort. If this is how they treat customers, they seriously need to rethink calling themselves “fine dining.” Would not recommend at all.

Being Saturday night, I could expect the busy time during dinner that led to some waiting for the rooftop sitting which was understandable .In terms of service, at least I could expect the basic service which is not asked and is by default. Water was neither served nor was asked knowing that there were some kids in the family and the very basic, no napkins or tissues were there on the table in a restaurant serving Indian cuisine, we had to ask after the starters were finished. Lastly, the price didn't match the quantity and did the justice. what do I say more?

This is to highlight that the outlet has a history of non-payment to vendors and continues to delay dues without valid justification. Vendors are advised to proceed with caution or avoid business to prevent financial risk.
