Planned for Delhi darshan and family wants to have a quick breakfast I didn't find any local breakfast joint and decided to drop in and check their menu. They have a huge menu and decent interior or ambiance. They offered us a South Indian menu which will be quick and being a South Indian chain we can trust on quality. The staff here is super cool and polite. We had ordered an Assorted mini idli and masala dosa. Kudos to Team Sagar Ratan🤟🤘🤟🤘

Tried 4ft never ending Dosa with friends, alogwith their special assorted podi idli, medu vadas, madras idli fries and lemon rice. Everything was delicious, overall had an amazing south indian food experience. Amazing food memory for me.

Food was as always good and so was service. Ordered Sagar special paneer dosa which was just alright. It felt like dosa with paneer bhurji. Other food options tasted amazing. But a little work on the interior decor can be done.

It was a wonderful experience eating at Sagar Ratna after a very long time. It has been a childhood favourite. Tried this branch at cp for the first time. We ordered- 1) Dahi Vada - perfect level of sweetness with the crunch of bundi and soft vadas, the dahi could just have been a little cold. Overall a 4/5 2) Mysore Masala Dosa - the dosa was crisp and the mysore paste applied on the inner layer of the dosa had a nice unique taste. Sambhar and all the 3 chutneys were also spot on. A 4.5/5 3) Special Executive Thali - great taste, generous refills. 4/5 again. 4) Mysore Pak - show stealer, melt in mouth, perfectly hot, just mind blowing 5/5 Overall, a 4/5 experience. Does a great job in terms of taste, ambience, service. Definitely worth visiting!

My benchmark for South Indian Food is Sagar Ratna at Udupi. I thought I would have similar experience but was disappointed. Despite so much staff, the restaurant was not very clean. We had food remaining from the earlier service lying around. Ordered Ghee roast, Ghee podi roast and Garlic pepper roast. The Garlic Pepper roast was good. The coconut chutney was not that fresh so didn't take it. The filter coffee surprisingly had cardamom and lacked coffee flavour. The service was efficient and quick. Hope they are able to match up to Sagar Ratna actual standards

I am used to eating at the Ashoka and the Defence Colony outlet. Made the mistake of eating at this outlet last evening. Hopeless food and poor service. Not the signature Sagar Ratna food preparation. Wrong orders served at the wrong table. The kitchen has no idea of table numbers. Dosas served in roti plates. A pathetic dosa that is! Which was ordered after black puris from the puri aloo bhaji kurma order, were served. Seemed like fried in an overused oil. Their curry bowl is something to marvel at! An extra roti was ordered for the north Indian thali and came in after 15-20 minutes after the server checked the same at every table in the restaurant. Bill and the mouth freshner served while we are still enjoying our coffee. What kind of hospitality is this. Unoperational washroom is a cherry on the cake! I would suggest the management to shut these less than efficient outlets if operations are getting tough for a million outlets scattered around the city or fire this kind of unprofessional untrained staff.

Had been to Naraina Vihar branch on Jan 6,2024 at 6.00pm. Ordered Upma. Sameer was very watery and was just like boiled ingredients with little trace of lintels etc. Tasting even worst the street side joints. Upma tasted very differently. On the whole I can say that the total food served was worst then an ordinary dhaba.

Do not make a mistake of trusting these guys on Jain food. No matter how CLEARLY YOU SPECIFY NOONE WILL GIVE A DAMN ABOUT IT. PLS DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF ORDERING JAIN FOOD HERE. staff - esp kuldeep would say koi na hojaega change after making you eat onion when you dint want to. Twice they got me an onion dosa.
