Recently visited Sambarpot, Lajpat Nagar and honestly had a really good South Indian dining experience. Right from the beginning, we were greeted with warm rasam which instantly gave comforting South Indian vibes. We started with Dal Vada and Idly Fries — the idly fries were crispy, light and something kids would genuinely enjoy. Then we had the Rava Idli and Thatte Idli, both super soft, fresh and full of authentic flavours. For dosa, we tried the Unicorn Dosa and the Pandu Mirch Masala Dosa. The Pandu Mirch dosa had a unique pickle flavour twist (pandu means pickle) and turned out to be surprisingly delicious. Coming to the drinks, we tried the Mango Shake, Pineapple Drink and Guava Drink — and honestly all three were super refreshing. The presentation was also really aesthetic, especially the pineapple drink which was served in a pineapple-shaped jar. The mango shake looked amazing with ice cream and fresh mango pieces on top, and tasted equally good. But the absolute highlight for us was the South Indian Thali. Everything in the thali was perfectly balanced, comforting and packed with flavour. Easily the best thing we had there and something we would definitely recommend trying.

The food was absolutely amazing! authentic and delicious! the ambience exactly matches the south indian vibes. make sure you try filter coffee after your meal, that's when it hits the spot!

Dosa was very good. Meal was just short of horrible except for Parrota ( Which was good). Rice was almost uncooked Koorma was not cooked properly, one could easily feel in taste. Rasam was expected to be better. Rava kesari though it was kesari in flavour but we had to search for its sweetness. Sambhar was cold had to be changed still found wanting Too many people / staff fora small resturant but hardly any attention on tables demands.. Surprise to see 4.8 rating @ almost 5000 May walkin again only for Dosa assuming will get hot sambhar.

please don't go by Google reviews.. it's not justifying it's cost and dosa is average. Thate idli and idli are really very very bad.. it's better you try some other restaurant
