After a long time, we visited Saravana Bhavan, Connaught Place for lunch, and it was just as amazing as ever! From the authentic South Indian ambience and warm hospitality to the rich flavors in every dish, the entire experience truly felt like a trip to South India. Even on a weekday, we had to wait around 20–25 minutes for a table, but it was absolutely worth it. We enjoyed: • Mixed Uthappam (Onion & Tomato) • Ghee Paneer Dosa • 14 Mini Idly with Sambar • Buttermilk • Sweet Lassi Everything was fresh, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. This place never disappoints and always leaves us with great memories. ⭐ Ambience: 10/10 ⭐ Food: 10/10 ⭐ Staff: 10/10 ⭐ Value for Money: 10/10 Must visit if you’re craving authentic South Indian food. Just be prepared for a short wait—but I promise, you won’t regret it!

PATHETIC FOOD. PATHETIC SERVICE.PATHETIC HYGEINE. The food was bland tastelesss .we visited morning 8.30 am and though the food should be fresh; it was just the opposite!! Cockroach welcomed us ( was roaming on the table) Sambhar was just boiled daal and tomato. Seems chef forgot to put sambhar masala and tamarind. Bland aloo stuffing. Dosa was burnt crispy. Filter coffee was not hot. The waiters are not at all interested in servicing the customers. Overall a really bad awful experience creating distress early morning. 4.5 star is a fraud. While standing on the billing counter beside was mithai counter; saw cochroach roaming on kesar badam halwa. Its SHOCKING!!!! & should be reported . Its enough to mk ppl sick. Gone are the times whn savarna bhawan was considered a must visit. Please dont visit if health is important to you. And yes action should be taken on this resturant for poor hygeine.

Masala dosa has a spoonful of masala, ghee roast dosa is as shy of the ghee, as rava kesari is of kesar. The poor guy taking down your names, screams from the top of his lungs (thrice), you no longer need to introduce yourself to the audience. As you make your way in, ears ringing, you find the place is faintly reeking, ACs dilapidated, tables shoved into tight corners- you can pretty much hear the strangers’ lore. The staff is overworked, the ambiance is overwhelming, the food is underwhelming.

This place has severely downgraded its service and food. Less than bare minimum stuffing in dosa. All chutneys had only water no coconut or anything else in it. Upon asking for anything, staff kept on chit chatting with each other on reception rather than servicing the customers. Upon complaining for anything, one by one all staff kind of disappeared.

Very poor service even on a weekday. Took them 10 minutes to confirm if an item was available and then when they said yes we ordered it. After 20 minutes they came back mentioning that it's not available. Totally unacceptable behaviour.

terrible staff, does not help. takes hours to serve and still passes the task onto each other. rude behaviour overall would not suggest going. food was also not that great

Masala dosa was so thin like eating dry brown papad. when I complained to the staff then she said that it is crispy dosa. I will never go again

All the dishes served were stone cold . No chutney was served. Even after frequent reminders the staff was not all in a mood to serve.

Overhyped. The only advantage they have is the location. Terrible food, terrible attitude. FSSAI must take note.
