A Stellar Pan-Asian Dining Experience in Gurugram! 🥢✨ I recently dined at Tan Yan in Sushant Lok-1 and had a truly impressive experience. If you enjoy refined Pan-Asian cuisine in a stylish setting, this place is a must-visit. The restaurant nails the modern Pan-Asian vibe with a calm, elegant ambience that sets the perfect mood for a relaxed, premium meal without feeling overly formal. The Food (Standout Flavors & Presentation): The culinary experience stood out for its bold, balanced flavors and thoughtful presentation. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, arriving at the table piping hot and full of aroma. The seasoning across the board was completely on point—authentic Asian profiles enhanced by a contemporary twist without being overpowering. We tried a fantastic variety of dishes that I highly recommend: Appetizers: The Dynamite Prawns and Chengdu Chilli Chicken were packed with flavor and perfect starters. The Atomic Potatoes also added a great kick to the opening course. Dumplings: The Mala Chilli Oil Dumplings (Chicken) had the perfect balance of spice and texture, while the Tan Yan Dumpling Bowl (Veg) was light, comforting, and delicious. Mains: For the main course, both the flavorful Biang Biang Noodles and the classic Wok Tossed Noodles (Veg) were executed beautifully. Dessert: We wrapped up the meal with the Berry Tres Leches, which was a phenomenal, sweet conclusion. Service & Hospitality: The service was attentive, smooth, and well-paced from start to finish. The staff was incredibly helpful with their recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the afternoon. Tan Yan offers a wonderful balance of great food, beautiful presentation, and a serene dining atmosphere. I will definitely be returning!

After planning a visit for over a month, we finally braved the Saturday night Gurgaon traffic for dinner at Tàn Yàn—and it was worth every minute. A huge thanks to Satinder, who was incredibly accommodating by holding our 7:00 PM booking until 7:35 PM after we got stuck in gridlock. We hit a small snag upon arrival as the restaurant doesn't offer infant high chairs, but luckily we had our stroller with us. The food was the true star. We tried the Shiitake Mushroom Skewers, Dumpling Bowl, and Berry Tres Leches, but the Spicy Veg Tempura Sushi and Sizzling Cast Iron Noodles were the absolute standouts. The staff were also thoughtful enough to prepare some steamed carrots and broccoli for our baby, which was a lovely touch. Highly recommended for the food and the hospitality!

Food is good enough but nothing was great kept waiting for that “wow” dish but that never came. Having said that I would say the salmon cream cheese pizza was a definite highlight. The grills are also pretty average but the price is not bad so worth a try. Xiao long bao and prawn dumplings again average. Same with the mains (black bean chicken, mock chicken, fried rice) and would not order the duck pancakes again - that needs a rework for sure. The waiter serving us was also extremely attentive and helpful. CON - The biggest con and the reason why we would not visit this location again is that when we entered there was a district discount of 30% on pay the bill anytime and we had couple of times announced that we would pay on district and what a good deal it was …….. only for the restaurant to take down that discount when the bill came around. Nevermind no fights no disagreement we simply paid and wouldn’t visit again. The behaviour to pull such a childish move was just inhospitable at the end and discredited any effort their chef put into the food and waiter put into helping us. Never seen any staff/manager behave like this before. Beware of this if you plan to pay using a discount.

Highly highly overhyped place, very basic skewers. They give a thick iron plate with a teeny tiny plate to keep the skewers warm, and it really does not warm up the skewer, food remains cold. We orders the enoki skewers and chicken thighs, both had same spices, enoki looked like lively tempura enoki in menu but wasn’t, but rather dry and sad. DO NOT ORDER ANY OF THE TAN YAN FLAGSHIPS. We ordered the mala noodle bowl, and biang biang noodles, both of which we returned. The staff later said it’s the most ordered, but rarely anyone likes it. If only they would have told this at the time of ordering. I gave two stars because the mala fried tofu was very good
