A big thank you to Suresh, Sumi and Jarnail. They have gone above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience for me and my wife. About the cafe: The cakes are brilliant. Myriad options to choose from. There is a cake for every taste bud. The cheesecakes and cupcakes here are worth coming back for. Thank you to the staff here.

I had one of the most unpleasant dining experiences at Big Chill Cakery recently. Despite the brand’s reputation, the way we were treated was completely unacceptable and disappointing. We visited the café just before closing time and bought a pastry and an ice cream. While waiting for our bill—as instructed by the staff at the cash counter—we were told to take a seat. However, shortly after, another staff member approached us rudely and asked us to leave because they were closing. We calmly explained that we were just waiting for the bill, and my mother was still eating her cone ice cream. We hadn't asked for any service, yet the staff continued to argue and speak to us in a highly disrespectful and aggressive tone. It’s shocking that a brand known for its quality and ambiance allows such behavior from its team. This was not just bad service—it felt like we were being pushed out for no reason, with absolutely no sense of customer courtesy. The staff member was confrontational and rude, which was both embarrassing and upsetting. Hospitality is not just about the food—it’s also about how customers are treated. I sincerely hope the management at Big Chill takes this feedback seriously, trains their staff on basic etiquette, and ensures such behavior isn’t repeated. No one deserves to be spoken to like that, especially not in a place that positions itself as a premium dessert café. Not recommended at all based on this experience.

We ordered a carrot cake from them to satisfy our sweet tooth but they completely ruined our experience a) the carrot cake was very dry b) it had a lot of cinnamon c) when we asked them if we could exchange it, they told us “it is alright as per us” You are not preparing this cake for yourself. You are in the service industry so you HAVE TO consider the customer’s liking. As a result, we left 3/4th of the slice because no one wants those extra calories that won’t even satisfy their taste buds. Kudos to your entitlement. This review won’t make a difference because you have a BIG name but I am never ever coming back not because of the taste but because of your bad service. Serve your other customers better.

I got a carrot cake which was filled with cinnamon. I have had carrot cakes from other places and they’re usually amazing in taste but this was as if I was just having cinnamon. When I said if it could be exchanged, fixed or replaced, the server said it is fine in taste as per them and their standards. Well, I think big chill is serving themselves and their own taste buds. They dont care much about their customers or their taste preferences. They were literally oblivious to our comments and were kind of snooty about their food because of their big name. In the end we left almost all of it as it is because we couldn’t eat that bad tasting carrot/cinnamon cake. What a waste of money and food most of all.

I have ordered hot chocolate which was too pathetic and the presentation was also too bad they just serve in a normal home style cup. Request everyone plz don’t order #Highlydisappointed #moneywastage I have shared a photo also Don’t try this ever

Had specifically asked to not include chocolate on top of the fudge pudding, however when they served they still put chocolate on top. Roshan, the guy at the billing counter, denied ever hearing it and replacing it. Very unhappy with the service.

Ordered a banofee pie for takeaway and received a cheesecake instead which was also sour and stale in taste. Totally pathetic plus there is no way to communicate through call. Atleast leave a functioning number

they Serve you undress stale Donuts. Charging so much price but even failing to replace them with fresh Inventory. this was my 6th but last take away from them.
