Went to this coffee cafe for a date, having heard a lot about it! Tried their specialty coffee, avacado and hummus toast, veg pizza, burrito bowl, butter croissant and lotus biscoff frappe. Everything was really flavourful, environment/ ambience was cozy and perfect for coffee dates and even working! Highly recommended

Had a wonderful experience at The Black Coffee Café! I tried their café latte, avocado & hummus toast, burrito bowl, and cheesy quesadilla — everything was packed with flavours. The best part? This café is open 24/7, so you can drop by anytime! Would definitely love to visit again. :)

Had a really nice time here. Perfect place for a quick bite or even long work sessions with the peace & ambience they offer! Do not miss their Mexican rice bowl & avocado toast, you’re gonna love it! Coffees are great too. Definitely recommended.

I loved this place, the food is too delicious. I love their burger and hummus avocado toast. Also, beverages are nice. The ambience look aesthetic and very beautifully designed. I like the whole experience.

I visited this place for a late-night dinner with a couple of friends. I used to come here almost every week—not necessarily because the food was world-class, but because they had decent coffee. After this experience, however, I’ve already made sure to warn my entire social circle to stay away. We ordered several items, including a Chicken Hummus Wrap. Upon the first bite, it was clear the wrap was missing the hummus entirely. When we tried to resolve it, things took a turn for the bizarre: Us: We mentioned the wrap lacked hummus and asked if we could just have a side of it to fix the issue. Server: He insisted they had put "enough" hummus in, as they always do. Us: We explained we couldn't taste it at all. Server: He told us we’d have to pay extra for a side of hummus. Us: We pointed out that was ridiculous since we could neither see nor taste any in the actual food. Server: He told us to rip the wrap open so he could show us the hummus. Us: We opened it up—still no hummus, just a bit of mayo. Server: He doubled down, claiming there was actually "extra" hummus in there, then pivoted to accusing us of eating half the wrap just to get a free replacement (take a look at the pictures for reference of the before-after of the wrap). Us: We clarified we only originally wanted the missing ingredient on the side, but given the service, we now expected a fresh wrap. Server: He told us we would be charged for a second wrap. Eventually, a colleague stepped in and offered to make a new wrap with extra hummus at no charge, but the damage was done. The first server’s aggressive and defensive attitude completely put us off our meal. Verdict: Terrible experience. It’s a shame to see a regular spot lose a customer over a dollop of hummus and poor attitude. Avoid. Like a plague.

I had an extremely disturbing experience here. I ordered a veg burger, but was served a chicken burger instead. As someone who is a pure vegetarian and doesn’t even consume onion or garlic, this is completely unacceptable. What made it worse was how the staff handled the situation. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, a staff member tried to mislead us by claiming it was a soya patty and even brought one out to “prove” it. However, when we asked them to heat it and let us taste it, they hesitated and eventually admitted their mistake. Apparently, someone named Dolly made the burger and used chicken patty instead of veg. This kind of negligence and dishonesty is not just disappointing- it’s deeply offensive. Strict action needs to be taken to ensure this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Truly a horrible experience.

The staff do not know the menu and we had to ask multiple times for things that was clearly mentioned in the Menu. Not a nice experience
