Been there almost every weekend,perfect ambience to have coffee and desserts along with snacks,good place to have conversations over cup of coffee,nice ambiance,charming environment,liked this place

SO MY FRIEND CIRCLE AND MOST PEOPLE IN AND AROUND MALVIYA NAGAR GO TO THIS PLACE CALLED BROWN BOX, WE SPEND MORE THAN RS.1000 EVERYDAY IN THE EVENING FOR COFFEE AND FOOD IN A GROUP OF ABOUT 3 TO 4 PEOPLE. TODAY, ONE OF THEIR DRINKS WERE BLAND AND WE ASKED THEM TO REPLACE THE SAME BUT THEY DENIED TO REPLACE IT SO WE ASKED THEM TO REMOVE IT FROM OUR BILL, AFTER A LONG DISCUSSION WITH THE MANAGER HIS REPLY WAS “SURE I’LL REMOVE IT BUT PLEASE DON’T COME BACK TO OUR CAFE, AS YOU GUYS SIT FOR TOO LONG. SO PLEASE GO TO A PLACE WHERE THEY ALLOW YOU TO SIT FOR THIS LONG WITH NO BILL”. FUN FACT HERE, WE GO OUT FOR COFFEE EVERY EVENING AND WE SIT FOR ABOUT 1HR OR 1.5 HRS WITH A BILL OF RS.1000 OR MORE WHICH IS DEFINITELY NOT LESS IN ANY SCENARIO. ANOTHER ISSUE THAT THE MANAGER HAD WAS THAT MY FRIEND ORDERED WATER A FEW DAYS AGO WHICH WAS APPARENTLY NOT EVEN SERVED AND SHE WAITED FOR AN HOUR AND KEPT PINGING THEM FOR THE SAME. THE MANAGER SAID “PAANI FREE HAI AND WE CAN’T MANAGE TO GIVE WATER ON EVERY TABLE, SO PLEASE DON’T HARASS US FOR WATER” ASKING FOR WATER IS HARASSMENT FOR THEIR STAFF. WHEN WE BROUGHT UP THE ISSUE WITH THE OWNER SHE BACKED HER STAFF FOR THE SAME. THIS PLACE REALLY NEEDS TO KNOW WHAT HOSPITALITY IS, THEY REALLY NEED TO RESPECT THEIR CUSTOMERS.

Creepy looking space, surrounded by abandoned old buildings. Seating is bad, place is dirty and stinky as its in the open, stray animals keep roaming there. Food is below average. I regret wasting my time and money there. Many other good cafes around malviya nagar like Sardarji Baksh or Cafe Desmo or Honey and dough are nearby, go there. Also, I have a feeling that the other reviews of this place on zomato are either from the owner’s friends or they are bought reviews. Don’t seem real at all.

One of the worst food that any cafe in delhi (or maybe india) can offer.. though the ambience is soothing and the staff are super courteous, but what use would that be if the primary objective of that place fails to deliver.

I would leave zero stars if I could. Sleepy service, poor quality of food and extremely disrespectful staff.Owner and staff are very rude come here if you want attitude.
