Very good food, we ordered the Korean corn ribs, the furikake fries, truffle parm fries, the winter lasagna, the exes and oh fried rice, and the Singaporean curry. Everything was top notch and the real winner was the gondhoraj and elderflower drink. Cherry on the cake is the fact that they don’t allow kids!

Ordered an edamame hummus platter, iced mocha and baked broccoli. The mocha was good but the hummus platter was below average! The baked broccoli was fine but could have been much better. The ambience is cozy. Definitely not one of the top spots.

The 3 of us had gone here on a Wednesday evening for a casual dinner. Our server was Sikander, who seemed to be a dismissive server. Firstly, we felt judged by the staff as we were a group of queer friends. Moreover, Sikander was arrogant. I asked him for a few recommendations but he did not respond to them. After deciding on 2 dishes and placing an order I was informed that they were available. When I asked Sikander to point me to dishes that are available he gave me a cold shoulder and pointed at the menu. Horrible service by Sikander

Very unfortunate that the service is so poor. Everything was generally slow but the most annoying bit was that they forgot to tell us one of our main course dishes wasn’t available until after 40-45 mins, so one person literally didn’t have their food. Much improvement needed, the staff seems clueless.

We started off having a great time at Grammar room - good food, nice drinks, we were the only ones in the restaurant on a Thursday night. Everything was fine till dessert- we'd ordered something called the Eton Mass (might be spelling this incorrectly). It comes in a glass and after we'd eaten a couple of spoons my friend found a DEAD MOSQUITO in the dessert. It was gross but we still politely called the staff and asked them to take it away. A little while later the manager came up to us, apologised and said they'd like to make it up to us for the bad experience. Now we were quite full and honestly no longer in the mood for dessert but because he insisted and we were the only ones there in the entire restaurant, we agreed. He got us a second dessert which we had a couple of bites of and then asked to pack. Shockingly when the bill came, we noticed they'd charged us for the first dessert. The manager's response was that we'd already had about 40% of it before we noticed the mosquito so we should be okay paying for it. This is really shocking- I'm surprised that the basic tenets of hospitality are not known by staff and that too by the manager. His whole approach really ruined what was an overall nice experience for us -would've been willing to overlook the mosquito in my food if the service and attitude of the manager wasn't this deplorable.Very disappointing, will not be going back.

The Grammar Room has always been one of my favourite places in Delhi, and I make it a point to visit every time I’m in the city. Unfortunately, this visit was extremely disappointing. Although the café officially opens at 11 AM, my friend and I were told at 11:15 AM that food couldn’t be served - only coffee. If the kitchen isn’t ready, what’s the point of opening the restaurant? We ordered coffee and I specifically asked for it to be served hot, yet it arrived completely lukewarm, almost room temperature. Once food service finally began, I ordered noodles, which were shockingly salty. When I pointed this out, the staff went to “check” only to return and tell me that the noodles were now over. Seriously? It’s sad to see such a beautiful, charming place deteriorate this way. Opening new branches is pointless if the quality and standards of the original location — the one that built the brand - are not maintained. I will have to think twice before visiting again.

I visited Grammer Room in Mehrauli with my 6-month-old baby, but was disappointed to find out that they do not allow kids (all ages). We were surprised since many modern restaurants are now baby-friendly. The reason cited was their alcohol-serving policy. While I understand this, I feel it was unfair to deny entry solely because of this. They serve alcohol, which I understand, but couldn't they just exclude it from our table? Denying entry due to having a baby seems unfair. If all Delhi NCR restaurants adopt this policy, it would be challenging for parents to dine out with their kids. Considering Grammer Room is a restaurant, not a bar, and Olive (sharing the same space) doesn't have this rule, we were disappointed. We hope they reconsider their policy to be more inclusive for families. I would love to enjoy Grammer Room's food and vibe with my family, but current policies make it challenging.

so pathetic service, staff in general in argumentative mode, lie about the dish quality and quantity and according to that not worth it.
