There are evenings that begin with the best of intentions — a quiet drink, perhaps two — and end up becoming the kind of memory you carry with you long after the night is done. My twentieth wedding anniversary dinner at The Green Room by Mia's in Greater Kailash 2 was precisely that kind of evening. What was supposed to be "just one drink" became, quite effortlessly, our favourite night of the week. I should say at the outset that The Green Room is not a place that announces itself with fanfare. It overlooks the central park in GK2 with a quiet confidence — a touch of retro charm, a whole lot of character, and the kind of easygoing warmth that you only ever find in your genuinely favourite kind of hangout. This is Tensi Mangal's brainchild, and when we had the pleasure of meeting her during the course of the evening, it was immediately apparent that the warmth of the space is an extension of the person behind it. There are restaurants and bars that feel designed, and then there are places that feel lived in. The Green Room is emphatically the latter. Saturday nights here are Jazz Nights, and that evening, a live saxophonist filled the room with the kind of soulful melodies that make conversation easier and silences more comfortable. For Sadhna and me, celebrating two decades of marriage, it was — and I say this without a trace of sentimentality — absolutely perfect. The music didn't intrude. It simply wrapped itself around the evening and held it together. Now, to the bar. The cocktail menu at The Green Room is built around a conceit that could easily have felt gimmicky but lands with considerably more intelligence than you might expect: every drink is named after a famous film. I began with the Indiana Jones — white rum, gin, citric acid, jalapeño, peri-peri, saffron, and lime. Spicy, sharp, and genuinely adventurous, much like the man it is named after. My second drink, the Pulp Fiction, made with gin, Aperol, Martini Bianco, jalapeño brine, orange bitters, and olive, was bitter, briny, and punchy — three qualities that Tarantino himself would likely approve of. These are not cocktails designed merely to look good on Instagram. They are built to be drunk and, crucially, to be remembered. The food follows a sensibility that is confident without being overwrought. The Devilled Chicken Skewers, served with a house devil sauce and smoked yoghurt dip, were precisely what a good bar snack should be — something that makes you reach for your drink and then immediately reach for another skewer. The Peri-Peri Chicken Pizza, with grilled spiced chicken, garlic tomato confit, mozzarella, and arugula, had the kind of balance that pizzas in this city so rarely achieve. But the evening's most quietly impressive moment from the kitchen was the Paprika Pommery Prawns — paprika butter garlic prawns with jalapeños and tomato salsa — cooked with a restraint that let the prawns speak without being drowned in complexity. The mains were equally assured. A Charred Chicken Cheese Steak with broccoli purée, herbed spinach and ricotta, and mushroom wine jus was comforting in the best possible sense. The Harissa Baked Sole — lemon chilli herb crumbed, with salsa macha, Lyonnaise potato, and Dijon cream sauce — was the kind of dish that reminds you that fish, when handled properly, needs no apology. And the Penne Shroom-Jang, with its spicy chilli tomato gochujang sauce, mushrooms, garlic crispy, and parmesan, was the evening's most interesting flavour conversation: Korean heat meeting Italian comfort with more grace than the combination deserves on paper. We ended with the Tropical Caramel Chocolate Cremeux — caramelised tropical fruit, chocolate ganache, lemon crumble — which managed to be indulgent without being cloying. A minor triumph in a city that frequently mistakes excess for generosity. The Green Room by Mia's is the sort of place that Delhi needs more of. Not a spectacle. Not a statement. Just a bar — a genuinely good bar — where the cocktails are handcrafted with seriousness, the music knows when to hold back, the food earns its place on the table, and the room itself makes you feel, almost immediately, that you belong. At The Green Room, as they themselves put it, you are all part of the cast. For our twentieth anniversary, we could not have asked for a better stage.

Absolutely loved our evening at The Green Room by Mia’s. The Hollywood-inspired vibe is mind-blowing - every corner feels like a set! The food was delicious, the cocktails were top-notch, and the entire experience felt super curated. Special shoutout to Vidushi and Tensi, the lovely owners who were personally there and made the night even more memorable. Will definitely be back!

We visited The Green Room by Mia’s for dinner and really enjoyed the food. We started with the Garlic Parmesan Truffle Potato Wedges which were tasty and addictive. For mains, the Mushroom Risotto was creamy and comforting. The vibe of the place is warm and relaxed, and the team made us feel welcome throughout. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for a fun, delicious meal.

This was my second visit at Mia’s and like my first visit, this one was really good too. I had the hot honey wings and Lamb chops and it was really good. Ameen did a great job with mixing drinks, talking to us and really being an amazing host to us. Thank you so much Ameen for only elevating the experience.

The loveliest place ever. It feels like you’re at home, a pub in uk, or a cozy bar somewhere at the same time. A beautiful bar that has a great cocktail program and outstanding food. I love this place! Also the music here will make you go “oh i havent heard that song in soooo long”

The ambience is breathtaking! Very Old Hollywood-esque. The food is delicious, and the playlist is so groovy. A must-visit.

Drinks were great, food not so much. Ambience is nice, but was empty while we were dining, making it a very lonely experience. Overall, not worth going, you can go to better places for drinks paired with better food

we didn't have a great experience. the overall service was slow, the initial item ordered had a stinking smell that was changed. they tried to make it up by serving the dessert on the house. overall needs to improve big time

Menu is limited and quantity is not good in comparing to the price otherwise service and ambience are okay. I'm not happy at all.
