Went to Veg. Gulati today and absolutely loved the experience. We ordered a Maharaja thali, a Jain thali and a rajma chawal combo. Add jaljeera and fresh lime soda sweet to it. Amazingly delicious and flavourful vegetarian food. Would love to go there again.

We visited Veg Gulati today as a family, hoping to relive the warm, familiar experience we've always associated with this place. Unfortunately, the evening turned out to be quite a letdown from start to finish. **The Beginning – Off to a Rocky Start** Things felt sloppy right from the get-go. We ordered kebabs as appetizers, and while they were served promptly, something as basic as onion and lemon on the side was missing — a standard accompaniment that any decent restaurant should know to serve without being asked. It set the tone for what was to follow. **The Mains – Where It Really Fell Apart** We ordered Dal Makhni, Malai Kofta, and some breads. The dal was passable — clearly not slow-cooked the traditional way, but not offensive either. It tasted okay, nothing more. The Malai Kofta, however, was a serious disappointment. Before ordering, we specifically asked our server whether the koftas were made with paneer or potato. We were assured it was paneer. What arrived was anything but — the koftas were predominantly made of khoya, with barely a trace of paneer to be found. This felt like a clear case of misrepresentation. **The Response – Too Little, Too Late** We asked to speak with the chef directly. Rather than an explanation or an apology, his immediate response was to simply offer a replacement dish. The replacement koftas did have a better texture — soft and well-made — but the gravy accompanying them was equally poor, lacking depth and balance. It felt like a rushed fix rather than a genuine effort to make things right. **Final Thoughts** This did not feel like the Veg Gulati we used to know and love. The quality, attention to detail, and the soul that once defined this restaurant seem to have faded significantly. It appears the kitchen has gone through major changes, and unfortunately, not for the better. We hope the management takes note — loyal customers notice, and they remember.

The food was horrendous no flavour highly priced for the quality. Our order was basic containing of dal makhni, some sort of paneer and garlic naan and they somehow managed to ruin which classic Indian dishes. The dal had zero taste the paneer had no salt at all and the naan felt under cooked. If you like the taste of that raw raw garlic with under cooked dough go for it!

Worst experience. our stomach is upset the next day. I asked the waiter why taste has changed, he said the cooking style changed because 70% customer base is from Jain community. Food is certainly not fresh for any community. not coming back again.

Ordered Chaap Butter Masala & Dal Makhani. The gravy was really bland and the chaap was not even grilled well. Dal Makhani was strictly OKAY. Absolutely overpriced, wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.
