Had such a great experience at Wakame during their Moon Festival. The Shanghai Hibiscus mocktail was honestly one of my favourites, so refreshing and flavourful. The Mushroom Oyster was another standout, and we ended the meal with their Moon Cakes which were such a lovely way to finish. The whole experience, from the food to the festive setup, was really well done. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone who enjoys Asian food.

Wakame in Defence Colony has been on my list for a while and it delivered. The Asparagus Dragon Roll was fresh and elegant, Caramelised Tamarind Prawns had that perfect sweet tangy balance, and the Stone Pot Chicken in Hot Basil Sauce was the kind of dish you don’t rush through. Mushroom Forest for dessert was as good as it looks. Solid Pan Asian, great ambience, will be back

The food was okay and service good but the server misled us about the serving size and made us order more than required. It was portrayed that the serving size was less than it actually was and the extra rice etc was wasted.

No table despite reservation. We still had to wait for half an hour to get the table. No point booking on district app if this is the service given despite a booking.
