Stone bowl was fantastic. Large portion size and lip smackingly good. Sushi was great too. Seafood noodle soup was saltier than desirable

While I love the behaviour of the staff and everyone and generally YouMee as a trusted place for Japaneese dining, the food quality has gone down from before. The tom-yum I ordered for instance had a tangy flavour similar to a rasam instead of a tom-yum flavour powered with lemon grass. It was sad. And the miso base in my ramen was entirely missing, the soup base was made with flavours unlike a ramen I’ve eaten at YouMee before. I request the management to look into the actual recipes, do some tastings, speak to the head chefs and get an understanding of the situation. I hope the next time I can be here, the taste would be replicated as it used to before. However, I was hurt and think the authenticity has been completely lost.

Something has gone wrong with Youmee. The staff looks tired. Manager is absolutely not interested in connecting with the visitors. Weird body language, no eye contact and sloowwww service. I used to be a fan of this place… sad to see the deterioration.

There are cockroaches in the restaurant. I can’t imagine what the state of their kitchen will be like if the floor of the restaurant is this dirty.
