Zen Chinese Restaurant in Connaught Place delivers a sophisticated dining experience with a diverse selection of Asian cuisine, with a strong focus on Chinese dishes. The ambiance is refined, combining modern elegance with subtle traditional accents, making it suitable for both casual and special occasions. What Stood Out • Food Quality: The dishes were flavorful and authentic. The Kung Pao Chicken and Crispy Honey Chilli Potato were crowd-pleasers, while the dim sum platter showcased the chef’s expertise. • Ambiance: The restaurant’s decor is chic yet understated, creating a tranquil dining atmosphere despite being located in the bustling Connaught Place. • Service: The staff was courteous and efficient, with knowledgeable recommendations and timely service. Areas for Improvement • Pricing: While the quality is excellent, the pricing leans toward the higher side, which might not suit all budgets. • Seating: During peak hours, the restaurant can feel slightly cramped, which may affect the experience. Overall Experience Zen Chinese Restaurant is a great choice for those looking to enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine in a central location. It’s perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family, especially if you don’t mind the premium pricing for the quality and ambiance offered. Would I return? Absolutely, for the food and the experience!

Ordered in! Great food! Especially because it has subtle flavours. Would not be appreciated for people who like Desi Chinese. The Shallow Fried Noodles were light and subtle in flavour. Chilly Garlic Noodles were extra spicy which some might not like but I liked them and Chilly Paneer was also spot on! I don’t know why it is not rated better

Everything needs to evolve with time. To suit the demands and preferences of the new age. This place is stuck in time. Perhaps, the parent company is very rich and that's why it continues to occupy such a great location without trying to do anything refreshing. The ambience is insipid, dull, and reeks of exhaustion. The service, courteous but lacks energy. The food, plain and unimaginative. The food industry has skyrocketed not just in valuation but also in width of offering, both in terms of quality, and price. This place is offering age-old menu at prices that are in sync with the time. A very dull experience on Maha Saptami. I have to redeem myself to my Baba..

The food is very very very basic. We tried spring roll (it tasted like it was outsourced by a street vendor), manchurian and haka noodles very very normal. It is not atol recommended. Try Chungwa instead in defence colony. Service not good, ambience very normal and food is just like you are standing out of your office and eating at a street vendor

Visited the place with family to revisit old memories and was hugely disappointed. Food was not up to the mark, ordered three dishes to start with, but couldn't eat most of them. Legacy of such places are going down in the HEART OF DELHI..

Iconic places and iconic service staff To start the food is pretty basic and average for the price My local market has better dimsums than what i ate at this restaurant for sure. Honey chilly potatoes were served without any capsicum or onions in them. The best part was when i had asked the server if spring rolls had cottage cheese in it or not because of an allergy in the family for milk products his reply was ‘’ spring roll kholke dekhlo’’ Which this wasnt enough He also taught us that when we ask for napkin , it specifically be tissue paper because tissue paper is not a napkin. I dont think this place should be open a minute longer where the service staff is rude to answer about the food considering allergies! Avoid it at all costs

While the ambience is quiet unlike the loud noisy restaurants surrounding this place the food is just so underwhelming that I wouldn’t go back even if they gave it to me for free. Avoid this restaurant. Hardly any vegetables in the noodles, the fried rice was stale, the chilli paneer was bland! Avoid this restaurant.
