Such an amazing experience being here… enjoyed lip smacking food along with autub view. Mr. Sonu sharma amazingly served us food and his hospitality was tremendous. Served every moment with beautiful smile on his face. Would love to visit again

The highlight of this place is undoubtedly the amazing rooftop view of the Qutub Minar. However, the music on the rooftop is mostly loud EDM, making it difficult to have a conversation (though I'm not sure if the indoor dining is quieter). The food is generally good! I tried sushi for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. The white sauce penne pasta was fine, but the real standout was the Japanese rice toast—I absolutely loved it. On the downside, the drinks left a bit to be desired. The two mocktails we ordered were just average, and the cold coffee is a definite skip. Additionally, the overall experience would be much better if the staff were a bit more humble and welcoming.

Absolute Disaster of a Place—Elitist Management, Terrible Food, and Misleading Bookings! Overall Rating: 0/5 Stars (Negative, if possible) I have been to almost every single cafe and lounge in the Mehrauli/Ambawatta area, and I have never experienced such a pathetic, disrespectful excuse for hospitality. Zylo by Kakapo should honestly shut down its operations if they do not know how to handle basic customer service. The Booking Deception & Entitled Management: We pre-booked a table through Dineout, expecting a smooth dining experience. Instead, we were met with an incredibly unprofessional and rigid management team. Despite having a confirmed booking, they flatly denied us indoor seating. They treat third-party applications like a joke. We were told that they "don’t allow Dineout bookings for the indoor Zylo area," a ridiculous, unwritten rule that they weaponize at the door to clear out space for walk-ins or higher-spending parties. The Horrendous "Outdoor Seating": As a "compromise," the staff forced us to sit in their outdoor section. Calling it a dining space is a joke—it was an absolute oven. The ambient heat was completely unbearable, and they couldn't even bother to provide adequate cooling or mist fans for the premium prices they charge. It felt less like a fine-dining lounge and more like punishment. Subpar Food & Smug Staff: The disrespect from the door followed us to the table. The staff is poorly trained, slow, and completely indifferent to your comfort or complaints. When the food finally arrived, it was a massive disappointment. For a place charging upwards of ₹3,000 for two, the food is completely tasteless, poorly executed, and aggressively below average. Save your money, your time, and your dignity. The Ambawatta complex is filled with incredible, high-end spots that actually respect their patrons. Zylo by Kakapo relies purely on its location, but beneath the superficial aesthetic, it is run by an elitist, incompetent team serving pathetic food. Never returning. Avoid this trap at all costs.
