The ambience and vibe were decent, but unfortunately the food really didn’t live up to expectations. We were promised a Kamikaze shot with our deal, but the shot glass was barely half-filled, and even that was quite diluted — honestly, a disappointing start. The sushi was okay, but the pasta was quite salty and the hummus in the hummus-falafel platter didn’t taste like hummus at all. The Hakka noodles were actually good, but by then we were already quite disappointed with the overall food quality. Overall, not a great experience and definitely not something I’d be going back or referring friends to.

It's the disconnect between what's shown on the app versus what the place actually is. And when I see ratings on District, I conclude that that place must be a really good place, with great ambiance, family-friendly, nice place to sit and have a conversation. Instead, when you reach there, you see it's almost like a dance club with large groups of middle aged men standing and taking over the place, extremely loud dance music, no one can have a conversation there. And I don't blame the place, it is what it is. I blame District for misrepresenting the place as some high end restaurant, which it is not. To be fair to the place, the service staff were good and the food was also good.
