This place is one of the gem in the outskirts of Bangalore, the almost 2 hour drive to this place is totally worth it. Everything on the menu is just so good. Flavours are just on point. Love the Thatte Idli and mutton chops and Keema Gojju is to die for. The mutton pulao is yet another star dish. All the mutton dishes were so tender, full of flavours and has that peppery after taste to it. Even parota and pepper paneer is one of the best vegetarian option you can opt for. So vegetarians won't be disappointed. Chicken pulao too is really great and the chicken pepper fry is one of the dish recommend. Flavours-5/5 Price-5/5 Quantity-4/5 Service-4/5

A small cost place which became famous overnight, thanks to Mr Kripal. My friends and me love going here anytime. To avail fast and best service, go here after breakfast or lunch. That’s when it’s less crowded. Most of the dishes I’ve tried is tasty, value for money and good at the quantity side.

Whether it was the tender yet crispy dose, the mutton paya soup, mutton meatballs, or the mutton chops everything was inch perfect! So much so that I ended up having 3 doses. We had to take a detour as we were on our way to Tumakuru, but totally worth it.

I travelled out of my way to go here. That should tell you something!! It was on my list for long as the pandemic did not make it happen. Finally it did in the initial days of lifting the lockdown. We were on our way to Mysore, the land of the famed Mylari dose, when we decided to grab a bite here. Was disappointed to see no dose (as they were still in unlock stage), but but the charming cook promised us akki roti. With literally no one around, he make the dough just for us and we watched while our food got ready in front of our eyes. Trust me when I say it was one of the best akki roti I have had in recent times. While we did try their koli kara (which is not for the faint hearted), I think it went best with the green gravy that was served. Their mutton paya was decent too. In my next visit, this time just for the food, I tried the dose. Oh what genius thought of pairing the fluffy mylari style dose with chicken gravy and selling it?? Try their dose and idly with their mutton chops and my fav green gravy. And even their chutney was lit! Sadly, the akki rotis are not available for breakfast, so I can see myself visiting again!! We also tried their nati chicken curry, chicken and mutton pulav, but I wouldn't order them again. Will stick to dose, akki roti, the green gravy and the mutton chops. Service was a tad slow, but you can't blame them with the crowd they get. 🙂
