Had the pleasure of visiting Darshan on multiple ocassions during our stay here. Located on the side of beautiful lake, the ride to this place is picturesque. Hotel Darshan is a pure vegetarian restaurant located in Kandal. The ambience is average. This place serves a wide range of north indian, chinese and south indian dishes. We tried a variety of their dishes. In north indian food we tried their green peas masala, dal tadka and paneer dishes along with butter roti and nans. We tried veg schezwan noodles in chinese. All of them were good. But the dish to remember was the bisi belle bhat. A typical south indian rice preparation. It was the first time we tried this dish. Loved it. Really tasty. The staff in inexperienced. The service is average. Reasonable prices. Not a bad option to try if you are staying here.

Dear hotel darshan did not send me my main course dish paneer butter masala ... I had paid for the same.. when I called your reception desk... I got a very clumsy reply that I need to call the delivery guy ... this is very unethical on your part. Your reception lady didn't even bother to confirm if the item missing I was talking about was packed and sent !!!
