I have been to Kapilavastu years before when I was young, should be easily 10 years back. And last week when I had visited Palakkad, we happened to go there for dinner. Couldn't really miss it, being one of the top restaurants in Palakkad. Not changed a bit, superb service, good food and very courteous staff. We ordered a gobi manchurian, chilli parotta, paneer fried rice, veg noodles and parotta kurma. Everything was perfect and tasted delicious. Except for the kurma with the parotta, the remaining tasted amazing. A must try restaurant if you'll visit Palakkad. Do not miss out on it.

The red chuttney or the ulli chammandi like hw we call it, was simply awesome. This is only for the spicy hearts. The curd vada was too good.😊Simply loved both these.

I am regular customer for few years due to good attitude from waiters and always get tasty and good food. No complaints about kapilavastu near KSRTC

Useless Zomato. Don’t keep such restaurant in your list who can take orders at 7.50 pm. This happens every time

We had ordered food online seeing the reviews. Below are my personal reviews. Food : 3/5 Taste : 3.5/5 Quality : 4/5 Menu - 4/5 Packaging - 3/5 Quantity - 3/5 Cost - 2.5/5 (Felt a bit expensive compared to other restaurants serving the same food items) Overall, recommended!!

I am forced to write this review about this pathetic place after three bad experiences. Once we ordered veg biryani/pulao. For a veg restaurant, there were just 5 pieces of beans and a rotting piece of god knows what vegetable. If that wasnt enough the rice was stale. Second time ordered paneer pepper and parotta. I could barely eat two mouthfulls. The paneer was rotten, stale and rubbery. The dish gave a putrid smell. I had to throw it away. The parotta was half cooked and the raw maida stuck to your gums. Had to throw that too. Today ordered mix veg. Again it was just some stale gravy with uncooked frozen peas thrown in. A small piece of hard stale paneer Nothing else. Should have called it frozen peas in rotten tomato sauce. Disgusting to say the least. People say this place is good. I dont know if their standards are low or they simply dont have any other vegetarian options in town. Avoid this place.

Ordered multiple items and to be frank the food is worst.All items were crap,good for nothing. Never order from this restaurant.Worse Zomato should stop online delivery from this restaurant.

I have ordered chilli porota and it was all burnt and the quantity was so less. The taste was pathetic.
