I have been to the 1st NMR restaurant a couple of times and love their food but my main concern there was parking. Finally got a chance to visit uptown. Bigger space, more variety but the good old taste that's what NMR uptown is. We ordered Prawns for starters, Kozhikoden chicken biryani, NMR chicken biryani (my fav), Kadai chicken, porotta, naan and tender coconut pudding for dessert. Though I'm a hugeee fan of their biryani, this time the prawns was the star. Juicy, right amount of spices, nothing over powering. A special mention for the juiceness of the chicken pieces in the kadai chicken as well. The chef seems to have perfectly cooked the meat. Huge appreciation for that.

NMR uptown not required any introduction to Peoples of Palakkad. NMR is iconic Restuarant in Palakkad and which is famous for Rawthar Biriyani. NMR uptown is a multi cuisine restuarant with larger format. They serves best dishes in Palakkad. You can have Chinese , Arabic and continental apart from signature Rawthar Biriyani from NMR uptown. Everything on the menu is good. Must try coconut prawns 🦐 and kebab platter
