Been visiting Magik Oven since I was a kid. I still go nuts for their Black Forest Cake. National Bakeries have always been a symbol of Palakkad. When coming to food and their new dishes, they're really good and worth giving it a try.

There was a time when bakery meant Magik Oven in Palakkad. We really didnt have many options. I still remember the 1st time my brother took me there and I tried their drink, screwdriver. Myself and my sister in law used to always say that the ghee cake in Magik oven is the best in the world. Last month, with the old taste in our hearts, mouth watering we went and bought ghee cake. But, sadly they didnt taste good at all. There was no taste of ghee and it was very dry. Hopefully, that was just 1 batch and the ghee cake still tastes good.
