Barkaas - Indo-Arabic restaurant I have been ordering their garlic butter prawn and fish tikka for quite some time. Recently went for dine-in. Interior is nice. Tried their signature dish Arabian special fish, Chicken Jafrani Kabab, Chicken bbq mandi. Also ordered Chicken Hyderabadi Dum biryani and Rara chicken. Food was really good. This is the first I tried Mandi. Flavorful but a bit bland for my tastebuds. I enjoyed their biryani much more than the mandi, perhaps because I am a fan of Hyderabadi biryani.

food quality is good and wait time also less but there is no privacy, constant staring by the staff all are in a hurry mode ambience is not good , avoid going at peak hours and weekends

Service is not at all good. As soon as I enter the restaurant they started asking us to sit as per their convenience. While eating my food, one of the staff (Probably: Manager) suddenly came and asked us can I clean your table then we said him that we are eating food. Later on he started staring at our plates now and then. I want to order Chicken Kabsa BBQ - Single as per mentioned in the menu but he said that I have to order Chicken Kabsa BBQ - Half. He said that we don't serve Single in any Kabsa item. When I asked him then why it's mentioned in menu, he flatly said we will remove that from menu. And, they have mentioned extra service tax in the bill. Price of the water and soft drink wrongly mentioned. After, confronted for the same he changed the bill.

In menu they have written original chicken shawarma priced around 250 WHat they actually give is rumali roti types filled with onions and capsicum with few pieces of chicken. Where dies original shawarma fills veggies and priced so high. Second we ordered 1600/ arabian mandi in which they gave pathetic one piece if uncooked mutton . We litrally left it on plate without eating. It was that bad. Mandi was not atall worth 1600/ just overrated over expensive with good interiors .

Ambience is gd but u wont feel that vibes and hospitality..that attract u and impess to come again Food tast is okey But sevice irritates u.. Definitely not for special occasions
