What I ate - Murgh Malai Kebab, Mutton Boti Kebab, Raan-e-Taksila, Veg Kurkure, Dahi ke Kebab, Dewaani Handi, Paneer Korma, Chicken Korma, Daal Takshila, Tamatar Shorba ▫️ Food - 5/5 ▫️ Ambience - 5/5 ▫️ Service - 5/5 ▫️This restaurant is one of the finest dining place in Patna. All the dishes were finely presented and tasted amazingly good. ▫️Murgh Malai Kebab was very soft and could just melt in mouth.😋 ▫️Veg Kurkure had cheesy filling and you can see the cheese oozing out once you take a bite ▫️ Dahi ke Kebab left a spicy flavour and is my favourite here. ▫️Their Korma gravies were rich and creamy ▫️Raan-e-Takshila is one of the dishes I would definitely recommend. ▫️Overall, if you are looking for a cosy dine in space with good food, this restaurant is a must visit.😇

What we tried: Murgh Malai Kebab, Mutton Boti Kebab, Veg Kurkure, Dahi Ke Kebab, Raan-e-Takshila, Paneer Korma, Deewani Handi, Daal Takshila, Chicken Korma, Tamatar Dhaniya Shorba, Lachha Paratha, Butter Naan & Vegetable Biryani. Dahi Ke Kebab & Murgh Malai Tikka were my favourites among starters. Raan E Takshila is a must try. Mutton was perfectly cooked & spices were on a balanced side. Vegetable Biryani was amazing too. A must visit place if you want to try some lip-smacking veg/non starters as well as Raan. Staffs were courteous & the service was fast too. Recommended!

Recently I got a chance to visit this beautiful place. I have tried Veg Biryani, veg Kurkure, dahi ke kebab, naan, makhamali paneer, deewani handi and kebabs. Good in service Ambience is really good Great place to hangout with your family and friends Must try their - Veg Biryani and Dahi ke kebab guys you guys will love it For non veg lovers - Raan-e-takshila and Murg Malai kebab is a great option Overall my experience was really good. A must visit place. Timings- Opens from 7pm Monday closed.

One of the best restaurant in Patna with a lavish ambience. Chanakya has always been and will be a must visit restaurant, when in Patna. The waiters are sweet and the food quality is amazing. The ambience is quiet and certainly a place where you can enjoy your food.

We had a beautiful dining experience at Takshila, Hotel Chanakya. It was New Year's Eve and they had beautiful candle night dinner arrangements for diners. The service was good and food was lipsmacking. The taste of hot melted cheese coming from the cheese naan combined with spicy pakhtooni aalo was heavenly! Full on wow experience!!❤

Visited Takshila to host a small reception with 25 People on 15.01.2020. Everything was absolutely horrible - the food, the service, the lack of attention and even the charged amount! I had to serve water myself on the tables and personally convey all orders to the staff - because they were nowhere to be seen. One table was served Rotis while other was served only Naans. Veg. Appetizers were served cold, there was no serving on the table by the waiters and food was merely dumped on the table with guests expected to serve themselves - and this is just the start! Please also find attached, a copy of the bill. I was charged Rs. 750/- for bottles of water! This is just ridiculous - please give me one example of any buffet restaurant that charges for water. When we are making a booking for 25 PAX, least we can expect is free water - and we didn't even ask for mineral bottled water. They could have just served us regular RO water but no, they had to charge us a ridiculous amount for water alone. Congratulations to the Takshila team - You very well made sure we never visit Takshila again! Never expected this from Hotel Chanakya. Word of Advice - you are better off spending a few extra bucks and going to Maurya or spending the same amount and going to Barbeque Nation or spending less amount and going anywhere else other than this place.

Extremely disappointing experience at Samrat Restaurant, Chanakya Hotel, Patna. The food quality and service were shockingly poor. A strand of hair was found in the food while it was being served, and to make matters worse, the waiter did not even apologize or offer to replace it. He remained completely silent and indifferent, which shows a serious lack of professionalism and basic hygiene standards. The paneer tikka was another letdown — the paneer was rock hard and absolutely tasteless. Given the reputation of Chanakya Hotel, I expected at least decent service and edible food, but this was a complete disaster. Also, just spending money on promotions and paid reviews won’t help in the long run. Focus on strengthening your service quality, hire well-trained and courteous staff, and most importantly, improve the food quality. If these basics aren’t addressed, it will be extremely difficult for you to retain customers. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes urgent improvements.

There is no option for table booking . The desk staff have no clue , rather than guiding customer they prefer to disconnect phone . This is least expected from a restaurant of this magnitude .
