Loved the food and overall experience! Lamb chops and beer battered calamari were highlights, and the tiramisu was excellent. Good portion sizes, great value for money, and outstanding hospitality. Will definitely be back! Thank you Rajesh and John.

Thanks for a pleasant dining experience. The plating, preparation, and service were just perfect. The ambiance was soothing with a vintage aura to it. Will recommend a must-have experience when in Pondy

It was my second visit to this restaurant located in one of the quiet lanes in white town. It being a weekday evening, there were quiet a few tables occupied when we entered. Our order was as follows- 1. French Onion soup- Went with this choice because I loved it when I tried it here the first time. But it was a tad bit runny and butter was so much on the higher side , that I couldn’t feel the taste of the onions. 2. Stuffed mushrooms- crumb coated fried mushrooms stuffed with spinach and cheese. Tasted delicious. A small portion of salad was served along 3. Masala fried chicken - succulent pieces of chicken fried in typical South Indian style. It was very flavourful. They also made it less spicy as requested. 4. Garlic naan - they were perfect with the right amount of butter and garlic . 5. Shimla mirch paneer- just the usual paneer gravy in a red base. Tasted good but the portion was quite less compared to the other dishes. They also provided a detox water of sorts with fresh mint leaves. 👍 Spent around 1.7k for a relaxing and quiet dinner .

This cafe offers a mix of French, Italian, and Japanese dishes, perfect for a multi-cuisine experience. We tried: - Crab and Avocado Sushi: Delicate seaweed wrapped sushi with popping crab eggs (we think) - Coq Au Vin: Juicy chicken braised in velvety red wine sauce - Classic Lamb Rack: Succulent, spice-grilled lamb chops - Chargrilled Lobster: Tender lobster served with butter sauce - Chicken & Mushroom Ravioli: Stuffed ravioli in a unique coconut-tomato gravy The coastal, old-school cafe vibe pairs well with the beautifully plated dishes, which retain their European essence. However, service could improve as our sushi arrived after the mains.

food is superb. time to bring the food can be late, but the authenticity of the French cuisine is worth it. 4/5 stars just because of the service time. (the staff are very friendly and speak fluent English)

The food and ambience were great but both cocktails and mocktails need improvement

We were 12 (6 adults + 6 kids). Huge mistake going there without checking reviews. Arrogant Mr. John Peter (called himself general manager, turns out owner) gave WORST service. Snatched paper candle holder from kids, said they broke it (when it wasn't breakable lol) and also claimed our kids blew on candles when there were clients sitting.. when enquired we realised there were no clients there and he had lied. He Yelled saying 'haven't seen people like these kids' and 'we don't know how to control our kids'. Told us not to lean on 'fragile' chairs... then showed 5 ALREADY BROKEN chairs lol. He was satisfied only after we hit our 3yo (out of his pressure) for pulling a ₹50 Christmas hat. The staff snatched our kid and consoled him immediately.. Mr.John Peter didn't seem normal.. he was happy after beating a baby. Our 3 years old was very traumatized, he said thrice 'I only pulled it by mistake'. Food was good, got extra prawns also. BUT that owner doesn't deserve to run the restaurant. He handles instagram, challenged us to post this. He treats foreigners differently. Staff warned us about delays + chaos by other customers.. should've left then.. made a huge mistake.. DO NOT VISIT. At any cost. -100 customer service.

I reserved a table for 7pm on Zomato, only to reach there and was told that the restaurant was closed till 8pm. They also told me that there was no reservation under my name. Which was a lie, because when I checked their diary, my name was there. Once they finally gave me a table at 8.30, the food took FOREVER to come. the service is TERRIBLE. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.
