Ibaco - your ice-cream destination truly justifies it's tagline. It is an official home for all your dessert cravings. Once you've relished their ice-creams you would definitely want to visit them again and again. This is a small cozy place located in white town with fancy and neat decor and few sitting tables. Another interesting fact goes that this place serves their ice-cream by weight which I found a very unique and genuine way of dispensing ice-creams. We ordered a mixed flavour of mango and black currant in a cup. Their ice-creams are so creamy and full of flavour with just the adequate amount of sweetness. This gives a very natural taste leaving you drool over them. This place also serves different flavour of chocolates. We found them very attractive placed in the fridge and so we ordered for coffee, Blueberry and strawberry. The coffee was the best of all. Just a little attention to the staff being more friendly will definitely help. Me and my husband were stopped from clicking photographs even after we informed them that we are food bloggers! Overall it was a great experience especially for a hardcore ice cream lover like me, hence the 5 stars. So whilst your stay at Pondi if you haven't visited Ibaco then you have definitely done Pondi wrong! I will definitely come again to try their ice cream cake and other inviting flavours.

The best icecream ever.. I love Thier red velvet with choco chips such a mouth melting flavour.. must try and their chocolates also taste really good..

‘Ibaco -Your Ice-cream destination’ truly stands for its tagline. This parlour serves plenty flavours of Ice-cream with your choices of toppings and sauce. You can even savour their sweet in their designed cones. New and unique frozen delights they introduce from season to season. Apart from Ice-creams, they serves chocolates, as it was not launch in the market we got the chance to have only one from the available ranges. They take orders for fresh cakes as well. This place is full of lights, some part of walls are beautified with classy pictures of varied fruits and nuts with related info, flyers are hanged of new ice-cream flavours, screen displays various types of Ice-cream and desserts. Staff is very hospitable serves yummy chilled dessert with spectacular presentation but they need to expand their sittings. We binged on : MANGO & LYCHEE BAR : Equally partitioned tropical fruit bar drenched in chocolate sauce ,coated with rainbow and chocolate vermicelli decorated with fruit compote and gems on side lends a sweet and savoury flavours of mango and lychee to each bite. VANILLA ICE-CREAM PIZZA: This White creamy two layered frozen pizza has cake as a base spruced-up with Vanilla flavoured Ice-cream .Though I don’t like Vanilla flavour at all, still it was drool worthy, loaded with roasted dry-fruits and snaky chocolate fudge adds some zing to the opening bite. This one pizza is enough to fill your tummy. Must try! LYCHEE ENIGMA : This small round confectionary infused with authentic Lychee flavoured chocolate fully smeared with brown chocolate is simple and classy … Must try lychee lovers. This is one of the best Ice-cream place in Pondicherry which satiates your sweet cravings.We highly recommend this spot to try their classy and good quality Ice-creams or you can also gift their numerous chocolates to your loved ones. Apparently, tasting ice cream before buying is a criminal offence at the Ibaco store in White Town. We asked for samples—nothing unusual—and were met with suspicious looks and muttered remarks. One staff member even said they'd charge us if we didn’t buy anything, even though the sample was barely a drop. The ice cream was expensive than Baskin Robbins as well, so you’d think they could afford a bit of customer service. But no. Hospitality? Non-existent. If you enjoy awkward stares and judgmental service, this place is for you.

So apparently they have three sizes, single scoop 100 gms, double 200 gms and triple scoop. I asked for single scoop and it weighed about 175 gms, I was surprised by their quantity and thought this is their single scoop portion size. Little did I know that you have to ask them to stop serving if you feel the quantity is too much. They believe it is upto the customer’s discretion. They charged me almost double the amount and felt no shame in doing so. Cheats!

Visited Ibaco in White Town—very poor experience. Staff gave us attitude just for tasting flavours. One even said they'd charge us for sampling if we didn’t buy. The whole experience was uncomfortable as someone who loves ice cream. No service manners, no hospitality. Not recommended at all.

I ordered milk shake from this shop. the quantity I received is very less not even 1/4th of the container . I don't know if it has spilled or someone drank and delivered.. very worst response
