Being a guest at Pondicherry fir 2 day visit was craving for some authentic coastal/ sea food cuisine. It was around 4 pm and when almost all the respective restaurant s were not serving this place was still open to serve lunch items. As per recommendations from the corresponding restaurant authorities we ordered a coastal fish fry (9 pieces of integrated fishes), crab drum stick and rabbit biryani. All the items were just too good in taste. The fish fries were tender n appropriate in taste. The crab item was all meat and not bone. The rabbit biryani was a delight. The rabbit meat was cooked in the manner it should be. It was decent n tender. The staff was courtateous and even the decor was sober. Decor-5/5 Food-5/5 Staff-5/5 .

At the very first time I could find the better place for food than home ... It always feels good to have someone to warmly greet u ryt ,!! Such a lovely atmosphere and I suggest this for people who are mostly from ‘Kongu naadu’ areas♥️♥️ Ppl yu must try this place once✨✨✨and I’m damn sure yu lyk,L.O.V.E it #Kongu Kitchen

Loved the place. Best Kongu food in Pondicherry. Very friendly and courteous staff - special thanks to Mr. Madan Kumar for his food suggestions. We tried Kongu chicken dum biriyani and Kongu Milagu chicken masala which were really delicious.

Was here in Pondicherry on a trip and came across this restaurant. Very nice ambiance and good place to have food under budget. Good time. Good food. Great experience!

Must visit place on a pondy visit, very courteous staff. We were skeptical at first with the low ratings but i guess its because not many are rating. Must try: prawns thokk, kongu kozhi kari saapad, you will never be disappointed Quantity of food is also awesome

Exotic south Indian dishes at affordable price. The staffs are very welcoming and polite and the service is great. I had non veg meal combo, chicken biryani and mutton chap.

Afternoons are always pretty heavily packed on food for me. Planned to try something Kongu style and headed here. Fyi - there's also Kovai Alamkar Vilas here too. The staff are lousy, you need to wait for ordering, cutlery, service, and they don't seem to bother at all. The interior is cosy. The wash area needs help though, saw a cockroach too. There were other guests complaining of a pungent smell in their table. Food - is Okayish. They do charge you for extra Appalams, which is normally complimentary in any Cbe restaurants though. The quantity on the meals is pretty fulfilling and not so on the Biriyani. The gravy (Chicken) wasn't of the kongunadu flavour. Overall - if you have a craving for Kongu style meals. We ordered chicken briyani, chicken pichi pottathu, vaazhai elai chicken parotta, prawn thokku,and panner butter masala, Only the briyani and chicken pichi pottathu was good other dishes are not good, prawn they used is not fresh one. In vaazhai elai chicken parrota they mixed fish kuzhambu instead of chicken kuzhambu. Chicken briyani - 4/5 Prawn thokku - 2/5 Vaazhai elai chicken parotta- 2/5 Panner buttermasala - 3/5

The service was good but food was below average. Burnt bun parotta - not freshly made. Reheated and hence, burnt

we ordered Chetinadu Chicken, it wasn't cooked properly. No biriyani was available. Service was very poor. won't suggest this place.
