We found this place online looking for a place to try some Creole cuisine food in Pondicherry. Le Gourmet Cafe is a very beautiful place - the colorful murals, greenery and pretty lights make for a very lively and welcoming ambience. We quite loved the food - especially the Chicken cutlets South Indian style- they were wonderfully in texture and had an interesting spice mix making it very tasty! We also had the Pondicherry Meen Kuzhambu - a tangy, spicy fish curry that went very well with steamed rice. Definitely recommend this cafe for their tasty food and cutesy vibes!

I visited the restaurant after watching an influencer who had put up a reel . The experience was shocking. No one to attend the guest for 15 minutes in the restaurant and as I had a small table for 2 the main course was firstly brought while we were having the starters and then when I requested if it could be brought back a little later, it was left on another table in the restaurant and the staffs disappeared . I had to get up and serve myself and my guest at our table. The FB Manager Mr Gautam came after 15 minutes and he did not even suggest any desserts either. The prawn vindaloo had only 2 prawns in it and did not meet the expectation either. I would never recommend anyone to this restaurant ever as the service was extremely poor. The only silver lining was the waiter Me Diwakar who greeted us and suggested the dishes we could try. He was hospitable. Thank you Diwakar.

Visited this place since it was nearby the hotel we were staying in Pondicherry. The food was excellent and ambience was pleasant. Divakar served us on the table and was very quick in service and polite in treating guests. Definitely recommend this!

Diwakar was a fantastic host to me. The seafood pasta was truly wholesome and very very filling for one person. The amuse bouche was lovely as well.

the food was really very good. came for lunch and were hungry. had the moroccan grilled fish, meen assad and the thai soup. each dish was better than the last. stongly recommended
